How do you price your goods? (not trying to sell on forums)

How do people find the best price on console (no addons) to sell things such as dwemer motif, high quality recipes, and the like. I was in a trade guild, but it seems you need to be in the top guild or else the guild trader will not exist or be in a terrible spot.

well my guild has a workshop on our website we use for the pricing on gears its the average price of the gear for mat cost and styles ect to help us in buying and selling so we can know what around is a good price and what is a rip off

I'm assuming your playing on console, because on PC we have mods that take information from the guilds we are in and come up with price trends and average price of actual sales. I am in 3 trade guilds that are very active, and hold traders in main cities. So the information of average price is very good, when it pops up with the number of actual sales and the average price from the last 30 days.

If you are in a trading guild go to options, guilds, (select guild) and view the history, look specifically at the prices things have sold for not what they are listed for.
