Its like Imperial City came out and everyone forgot English. Since the update I've heard the most ridiculous pronunciations of this real world material. I've heard Malashite (not sarcastically) MalaCHite, and I've even heard malasight lol. Like seriously guys I understand one of the misprononciations but you guys can't just pull an S out of your butt when ever you feel like it! ITS MALAKITE!!!!!

I mean, I have no issue with people making mistakes, but you do open yourself up to criticism when you yourself are criticising others for how they pronounce or spell something. Take the title for example. It's a mess.
I've probably made mistakes too. However, I don't go around correcting someone over something insignificant.3 -

I have friends who are native English speakers (unlike myself), who keep using the word "ignot" (rather than "ingot") even after I have corrected them upwards of 10 times. I don't even bother correcting people anymore unless someone is really bordering on illiterate. This is how my maths-teachers at school must have felt

In essence, in a chatroom context, a person who insists on rectifying the spelling errors of anyone by rephrasing the said line accordingly. To remain faithful to their cause, they must invariably make no spelling mistakes whatsoever of their own, otherwise he/she is engaging in hypocrisy, in turn, looking like an oblivious ***. Further, they justify their cause by asserting that the victims' spelling is "imposible" to read.
What the prick fails to realise is how needless his/her cause really is, seeing as he/she is perfectly capable of construing the sentence containing the spelling errors sufficiently to be able to rephrase it suitably. Ultimately, he/she incurs embarrassment and looks like a total ***, as a result.

Non-US citizens do travel! And Europeans are conscious of the origin of the words we use - Malachite is derived from Greek, so the ch is hard (like school).
But I'm more concerned about the stealth nerf to Malachite shard drops in the last download. I was getting a shard every other chest, now I rarely see them.

✭I'm on PC so I don't have voice chat. But Malachite is one of the few words I silently and automatically read like German (which is my own language). Malachit, without the e in the end, and the ch sounds like something got stuck in my throat lol
