Wrecking Blow Animation Cancelled Heavy Attack

Ehh when I do this I was getting a full heavy attack damage and full wrecking blow damage. I didn't notice it against shielded targets since addons dont report damage done to shields I'm assuming.

I told him @TheBull I was ready to log out it (the damage) was so bad lol. I suppose it will be a lot better when they tweak the damage or make shields vulnerable to crit. I imagine my results would have been better against a Stamina NB or Sorc.

Couldn't you do this before? i used to always animation cancel Wb with a heavy, i could easy get someone to 30%~ hp with this combo may throw a light attack or two to get into execute range and dead.

Just examine the behavior of this on live versus PTS.

I never did this on Live although I'll certainly try tonight to see how it compares.

Yes but you have a much smaller window of opportunity. As it is on PTS, you barely have to try to pull it off. It's extremely easy to do now.

this I have been doing this for months now. Video is on here somewhere. the forums that is. Do not know where it got moved to. When I try this in the PTS weird things happen. It seems that my WB/HA/WB becomes a WBHA/WB or even a though cast as a wb-has-wb winds up being a wb-wb-ha or a delay or a burst no real consistency.

Wrecking blow is not op, unless u eat 2 to the face cause your lagging and don't know it.
Don't wanna get rekting blew, Take off the dress and put some armor on.

I do 7k damage if i land both as ttacks, in PVE ON BOSSES.
After pvp damage reduction. What's the problem?

Yeah, a certain DK in BWB spams this, and it's something I always see in my log. Those heavy attacks were hitting harder than his WB too. I hope it gets fixed

I took WB off my ability bar because I can't stand the wonky bugs is causes, sometimes animating, sometime no animation, sometimes hitting very delayed or not at all.

I will try and post a video but prior to IC WB worked fine and they messed it up, even in pve.

I've got my timing down to where the heavy attacks almost never cancel the wrecking blows now, but it is ridiculous that I have to do that.

So is it still wb button, then hold attack, or do you have to wait to hold the attack button?

It is Wrecking blow, immediately hold Heavy Attack.

Ahh hasnt changed yet.. I honed that skill on a certain group of lupines.
