The whole free CC immunity thing is a strawman when everyone knows CC itself is so broken and overused in this game that both rapids and immovable (skill or potion or both) are used to great extent in any organized group.

There is a reason frags accounts for about 50 percent of my killing blows (654/1310 since i got the new computer last month), because its fricken awesome damage, proc or no proc. Mine hit for almost 10k post-damage nerf. They used to hit for 18 or sometimes even more. Thats a heck of a lot of spike damage near instantly. Especially now that Nirnhoned got fixed and arbitrary spell resistances over 50k are no longer possible. No weave is going to achieve that. "DPS" is a pointless metric in PvP.

Being able to lay on 30k damage in the span of 2 seconds, burst, now thats whats important. No other caster save a DK inferno double heavy attack in execute range can achieve that kind of single target burst in a DPS weave, and even that requires molten armaments and split second timing to pull off in the right situation.

To achieve the same raw burst on a caster Sorc in any other way would require a careful stacking of multiple skills, one of which is purgeable, all of which are also blockable, one of which is an ultimate. And dont forget the finisher requires going into point blank range. Inevitable/Curse/Smiting


Also, there is a counterplay problem with crushing shock (venom arrow). If you use crushing shock (venom arrow) it means youre using a destro staff (bow). Okay, so whats your offhand? Resto? Then you dont have defensive posture so you cant reflect me unless youre a DK. Sword and Board? No heals for you unless youre a templar.

What this means is, you can interrupt or reflect me or heal. You cant do all three effectively. Meanwhile I can merrily spam you with frags until im blue in the face, unless you can put some burst on me, im going to win this fight, and because youre so focused on trying to counter my damage, youre not doing any on your own. And what meager damage your shock spam might be doing, is being shield absorbed and refreshed as needed. Ive done this too many times vs too many FOTM sorcs in 1.6 to know exactly what im talking about. So many of them followed the same *** strat of trying to bring crushing shock interrupts to a raw burst fight they ended up getting themselves slaughtered because they thought it was pro.

In a battle of straight up point counterpoint, the hardcaster is actually more likely to beat you than you are him if the hardcaster knows a few things about how builds have to work, and pays attention to your skillset/weapons.

Funny enough, the only real "decisive" counter used to be ball of lightning resto/destro sorc, purely because BoL added an extra free absorb into the counters mix and made the timing much much more difficult, and BoL got nerfed into the ground and no one uses it anymore. Yay. Sure a DK can still be a problem, but hey ive got curse and mines too for just such a situation.

Stam build counterplay is a little trickier. what with more dodgeroll mayhem, vigor heals and blocking going on, but vs another magic caster, hardcasts are hilariously effective for all the above reasons.


Also id like to point out i also try to use proc frags mostly. But sometimes you just gotta wave your hands and show pro-boy over there that just cause your hands arent glowing, doesnt mean you cant generate a 10k blast to the face (that they best not take for granted cause its often followed by the proc one after) any time you want.

Thats a laugh. Every time ive run in to you one of two things has happened. 1. Your blob killed me. 2. I killed you separated from your blob. It actually has happened before, and most likely i killed you with a frag, too.

Yall got this funny thought in your head from somewhere that im some kinda terribad that doesnt know how to play my own char or something. I got some news for ya, just cause someone isnt in a dueling guild doesnt meant they dont duel for testing of builds and all the like. But hey, i get that a lot from people.

You also tend to learn an awful lot about what you can and cant do by running solo, completely solo, in Cyro the majority of your time. Sure in the last few months ive adapted a more group oriented style, but i still go out on my own, and am very very successful at it, all of the time.

Its kinda amusing honestly, a lot of the haters from the forum that run into me out in the field, suddenly shut up when they realize "hey Rylana actually ISNT all talk, and can kick some serious ass when he wants to"

Maybe you should learn that or something. Or ya know, just teabag me the next time you see me after you and like 10 other guys have steamrolled me. Doesnt matter.

I have played many drinking games with ESO

As AD i never go to Dragonclaw so I always have a Jager Bomb if taking this but my favourite ever drinking game is choose a player in your group that always dies or wonders off from the crown and every time they do have a shot of Sambuca.

I held a drinking event for my guild last Xmas and we had to dye our armour green and run in a shape of a Christmas tree across the map everytime someone ruined the shape of my tree I stop the group make them get back to looking like a Xmas tree and everyone has a shot

I might have many more but I just got back from the pub ill try and think of some more for you all tomorrow hahaha
