See if you can chug a six pack during an IC load screen!
One shot everytime someone hard casts a crystal fragment *looking at the last eso live-stream*

There is absolutely nothing wrong with hardcasting.
I mean, do tell. In your infinite wisdom why is hardcasting a crystal frag such a noob thing to do?
Because I want to know why, when I hard cast a frag, it tends to kill people or drop them very low so the proccast afterwards finishes them
I mean, is it because you THINK someone is going to interrupt or dodgeroll? Because im telling you right now, that almost no one ever EVER does. Even in 1v1. Especially in 1v1. Its really funny too. All of that self assured smugness gone out of them when they are knocked on their ass and obliterated in two hits of 7k and 9k respectively. I mean that doesnt always kill them outright, but it might as well. The execute to follow would finish the job quite nicely if I ever slotted it. As it stands a third hardcast while they are getting back up usually polishes them off.
Must be hilarious for some of those smug players to see only 3 crystal frags in their death recap and nothing else.
I mean you cant even use reflection risk here as a counter argument, because frags vs reflection would be an issue even on a proccast - and actually more of an issue since youd get hit back that much harder.

I don't know what kind of enemies you face everyday, but the kind of player I mean stands right in front of you, casting fragments.
In PvE it's also a massive Dps loss since you can't rly animation cancel them. I know you could use a light attack before the cast time starts, but you lose a whole second.
S&B reflect is easily countered if you use the frag proc, but barely doable if you hard cast them.
Hard casting fragments grants your enemy time, reducing the pressure on him.
You know what happens if you hard cast a fragment against me? You will eat 14k instant dmg thanks to my animation cancel and an additional free stun. Bash hurts if it interrupts something.
Just cause you barely see people using this situation doesn't mean it's good to hard cast them.
Anyway I mentioned the Live stream for a reason, you should watch it.
It's more about the potential Dps loss than about being countered in PvP.

Played sorc a long time man, and i have yet to see a situation where id have said "welp shouldnt have pressed the 1 key there"
I just find it disingenuous to attack an action (and why there are so many smug people calling out some sorcs for doing it.... is beyond me, not that im calling you smug, you are by far not the first person ive had this discussion with on the subject) that actually is so rarely counterplayed the way people claim it can be, like you have said.
The average human reaction time and the normal server latency really prevent hair trigger responses to thing. By the time someone usually has to react ive already hit them twice. I must macro or something, know what I mean?
Last time I ate my own frag was when i attacked someone blindly and missed the icon on their buffbar, and took a flapflap reflect to the face. It happens, but hey that my mistake there. Fragging a DK like a boss. -.-
But ye, im just mincing because its a pet peeve of mine. >_> then again if i go into a vet dungeon and do absolutely nothing but hit power surge and then hardcast frags for days i still hit five digit sustained DPS numbers with it. Thats good enough for me.
I dont drink personally, but GoS should institute a "shot every time lily cringes at the word "moist" in teamspeak"
