It's just as OP and abused as bolt escape was before they nerfed it
Detect pots don't last for longer than 15 seconds.
They need to buff detect pots or nerf cloak or change how it was to pre IC

Ball of Lightning failed to absorb spells more often than not, but that didn't keep it from getting the worst nerf in the history of MMOs. Why should Cloak get treated any differently?#CAREBEARMASTERRACE1 -

Darkonflare15✭✭✭✭✭Use an aoe skill. Knocks Nightblade out of cloak. Rinse and repeat. If they spam cloak keep pressuring them. The most simple counter for this skill and everybody can do it. Not that hard and if a nightblade can easily get out of this counter odds are he is a better player and you may need back up. No need to nerf since this skill does not last long and it is easy to counter.1 -

Plus it's a purely defensive skill that lasts two seconds. Nerf it? lol I love gamers these days. If anything else it's so funny watching them get all sad and upset over other players killing them in pvp. Learn to rage a little in private guys. It'll only happen when Cloak lasts for more than 3 seconds. Which, you know, it doesn't.1 -

I've seen thread after thread of Nightblades telling other classes to, "L2P." But the moment whenever they (Nightblades) get called out on particular skills, they use the, "It hardly ever works as it's supposed to." card. Or, "We (NBs) are too squishy, and don't have a reliable defense/heal." card. Give it a rest already.
If you (Nightblades) don't want a particular skill nerfed, or reevaluated by ZOS' development team. Then say so. But stop lying about how skills don't work, or about how mediocre your class feels. As I've said on a previous thread, I created a Nightblade not too long ago, and as a Sorcerer (primary), I can definitely say Nightblades far outshine my Sorcerer in every single way. And my Nightblade isn't even on the same level/rank as my Sorcerer. I also have a Dragonknight who I'm leveling, and while fun -- again the Nightblade outshines it. But the truth is nightblades got no class damage shield or good heal (no swallow soul/funnel and sap isn't good).
Sure ZOS can reevaluate it, or nerf it. But not without giving us a class damage shield (like sorcs/dk/temp has) or a good self heal (dk/temp).
Nb doesn't have any of these, all we got is cloak. Please think things through first before you post.EU | PC1 -

I'm just being honest, bruh. And I've been playing as a Sorcerer since day 1. A mage/sorcerer/wizard will always be go-to class, or primary no matter what MMORPG/RPG that it is I play. And from the feel of it, the Nightblade class has so many tools and utilities that it outshines my Sorcerer.
Why? Because of its stealth multipliers, as well as overall play-style. Sneak around, kill things before they have a chance to notice you, and if they do? Disappear. Rinse and repeat. Or, if you're in a jam and have too many things attacking you? Mass Hysteria. Proceed with killing them as they flee. Want to kill things from a distance? Sure. Just a bow while in stealth, and just watch the bodies drop. Wanna get really stupid with it? Animation cancel your attacks with the bow, and really watch the death count rise. Have some fire damage burning you up, or perhaps any DOT? Dark Cloak and just like that. You're good to go. Wanna go offensive with your cloaking abilities, and STILL do stupid damage? Sure, Shadowy Disguise has you covered.
All and all, it's not really a L2P issue. It's really not. That's just what a lot of people say, when they don't want something nerfed. Why? Because they're too much of a coward to just say it straightforward. "Hey, I don't want ____ nerfed, because ____." The people who enjoy abusing things which may in fact be over-tuned, or exploitable for gains? They'll sit there and say, "Stop QQing, and L2P." Or something along the lines of, "____ doesn't work half the time, and besides we lack ______ as is. We don't need a nerf."1 -

Woah woah now, I'm pretty sure there's none of that allowed around these parts.
I personally am finding all these people whining and crying about how they can't figure out how to beat a single skill, hilarious. "But I have been here from day one, so what I say matters OH SO MUCH!" Yeah man, if you have been here so long then why can't you figure out how to use a simple AOE, MageLight or any of the other handful of ways to beat the skill?
