No! Some people have been working hard for weeks to figure out (but not report) all the exploitable bugs - all their hard work will be wasted if this is delayed until ZOS fix it!!

You don't even want to get me started there. Know it all kids. When you try to guide them they act like you're controlling them. To the above poster, I'd guess he can work at Walmart with you. I'm in the same boat with my sons. I just want them to stay at home and focus on college. They can live with me until they're ready, 30, I don't care, but they act like I'm the inquisitor of slavery when I ask them about their progress. Spoiled kids that grow up middle class plus.

You can't tell them by the time their 40 they will feel like ignorant morons for skipping school. They'll feel it in every way. If they don't, I guess they're meant to be that way. You can't hate on them, because they're your kids. You can't be happy if they fail, because theyre your children. You're just screwed as a parent. With this.

I got my new apartment!! Instead of living at home for free going to college. I'm a gamer for a living!! Let's equate what you're talking about to the NBA.. I left my parents house so I can focus on being in the NBA!.. Do I have to go on? Before you go off on me. I taught my sons how to mmo and shooter since they were 5. My son is streaming in a popular shooter at the moment. Luckily he is under age. Because I would take everything from him if he talked about doing it forever.

Not to take this post off topic too much, but that's where we as parents sometimes fail. Yes we want the best for them and don't want them making stupid mistakes like we did. I'm not saying collage is not important. But what we as people and parents in particular forget is. The average life expectancy today is what 80 years? my point is, it is their 80 years. not mine not yours or anyone else. That right people, it's your 80 years, you live it and your choices dictate how that 80 years plays out. If i can look back and say back in my day i was a gaming streamer or *** shovel-er and it made me X amount of dollars per month, more than some wages. And i had an absolute ball doing it and i met great people and tried my hand at it. going against the grain of society. Just to see how it played out. If i fail or succeed in that adventure, it was my adventure. and this is my 80 years and i gave what i loved a shot.
As a parent myself, if my kids fall flat on their face. im their to pick them up. how much sympathy i give is another thing (If they tried jumping six garbage bins on the bmx bike etc aka a stupid choice). But i dust them off and say try again if that truly what you need to to. motocross people will get that analogy :-) Sometimes you just have to do it fail or win to know if you can or can't.

they could offer free subscriptions or free crowns to random or selected players to run beta tests on new patches. give notes on the changes so they can test them directly. along with allowing for those players to create test characters for the betas(chose level set stats and be able to change them or create other characters at any time any level, race, class and so on).

LOL that's not how it works. You got it backwards. We (the PC players) pay to beta test the game, then it eventually gets fixed and delivered to the console.

See here's the thing, you can pull 1 line out of my video and make assumptions all day, but I have been 100% transparent with everything as long as the idea wasn't given to me by someone who requested that I don't share it (which rarely happens anyways) As for this particular video, This set (shield breaker) was getting buffed, (it did 2 patches ago) the value went from like 1k to 2k on shield breaker damage. I was aware of this before the patch came out, but I wasn't sure if I was allowed to say it. So I didn't.

Just listen what I'm saying in the video:
"This set is going to be good, 1.1k irresistible damage, 1.1k seems low right now, but it's going to be good."

I don't have to prove myself to you, but I felt like giving you that explanation. I'm always transparent with my builds, strategy, and have helped people in every aspect of PvP.

    1. Syhper doesn't need any help with his life decisions from ESO forums. He seems to have the ability to make a decision all on his own. Good luck to him he will succeed or fail on his own merits and of his own accord.

    2. When the stamina nerfs hit the mainstream there will be at least two very predictable outcomes. 1-Contrary to ESO talking points the response will not be positive or closer to 50-50 as they assert. It will be predominately negative and with good reason this is a terrible change to the game. 2-Magica builds will be all the rage it offers everything stamina builds used to blocking or block casting result in loss of stamina regen which has which has very little effect as it's not your primary resource, which brings us to the next logical step blocking will eventually kill magica regen to ZOS is just smart enough to roll it out incrementally. In two months stamina players will be complaining about magica regen while blocking so ZOS will just be responding to criticism/feedback.

    3. The werewolf/vampire nerfs are just a compete load of crap. If regen is such a problem fix regen don't ruin two of the most unique fun aspects of the game.

Didn't read all comments yet but will because I am curious on others thiughts. But I think just release it. There is a lot of testing we can't do. It requires the whole population to properly test to see what builds and what not the community as a whole comes up with. No matter how much testing we do on pts it will never be enough. There will always be things pts players miss or never thought of. It is to limited of a population to properly gauge how things will work out.

Also keep on mind that even if we do find exploits in systems we can't really give details on how to do them. We're allowed to stumble across things in PTS and encouraged to break things, but there is a line in that. ZOS is a little vague in that, most time they just want it bug reported, not put in a spoofed video how to do it. I myself will discuss what exploits I know about only as concepts, since I've seen too many getting month long bans when they get into details of how to do it.

As for the conspiracy theorists; most streamers, especially @Sypher & @Deltia, have to be open with thier builds and skills used. Developers and players would find out quickly if any sort of exploiting was going on since you'd see it in stream, prior broadcasts, and it would be repetitive. Some of us may know more than we let on, sure, but trust me that's more so we don't get in trouble with the folks upstairs, while also pestering them to fix a lot of it.

Game was not ready for launch, but calling it is like beating a dead horse.

Which update ever from ESO hasn't introduced more bugs and exploits and how many reported bugs on the PTS have made it to Live since we were granted access to the PTS?

Why would it be an issue releasing a bug infested patch? They done it with the game when it first went live and we have been playing a bug infested game from that point. This is nothing new for us.

    Serious answer?

Because this will be the first time that bugs and exploits will have a direct and potentially lasting impact on our ability to obtain gear and remain fully competitive.

If you've read these forums over the life of the game you know how angry and frustrated players get when they die to flaws in the game when the consequence is as small as the break in a kill streak and a ride through Cyrodiil.

Imagine, if you will, how epically furious players will be when that death to bug, lag or exploit also means lost currency?

I would theorise that rage will also be in proportion to the amount of time people have available to play ESO. So people playing an hour a day and losing that sole hours gains to such a thing will just feel like their play time is wasted much more than those who play for many hours and can thus recover from the loss.

I would also speculate that the more 'casual' player is less likely to know about exploits and bugs and is more likely to be victim of them rather than exploit them... for exmaple the whole blunt weapon exploit is well known here by now but normal players don't know about it even now. The forums are a rather small subset of the playerbase.

In conclusion the real in game impact of losing TV stone currency to bugs and exploits is far more likely to cause epic levls of rage than the current 0 loss systems.

The forums will most likely reflect this but out in the wider player world people will just stop llaying a game that will make them sad instead of giving them pleasure.

The tragedy is that if ZOS stopped lostening to the same small group of players who they mention time and again on their feeds (i.e. The ones who will have already organised to take full advantage of all the bugs and exploits they have found on PTS) and sampled more widely it would not come as such a shcok to them as I fear it will.
