I tried working my way through the Thirzinni arena quests last night. Even entering a tiny solo-instanced arena was taking up to a minute.

This is getting silly. Is there still no cogent ZOS response to this?

Sadly yes. Yesterday I was with my guild doing some IC quests. When I finally loaded in, they already finished half the quest lol. Of course, as they are a good guild, waited for me to catch up. But I really hated to go from sewers to inner city and back. Then I went outside and pulled all my hair out because I also had to go back and it took to long.

A minute? You should feel awfully fortunate.

That was a minimum. The longest was 7 minutes to enter that same arena (you enter it a lot for that quest).

To put that into context, my usual maximum loading screen time is 10 seconds. Usually it is so short I don't even get to read the accompanying text. As a comparative increase this is still massive.

I turned off all my add-ons, still getting long loadins. I assume it's just due to the traffic from players logging in with a new DLC, but time will tell.

That's exactly how it is for me as well. Before, the loading time was fast enough that I never understood why people complained about loading screens in the first place (under 10 seconds). Now, my minimum is 1-2 minutes, which is annoying but still bearable... until yesterday when I sent my templar into Heart's Grief to complete the main story quest. After 6 minutes loading I restarted the game entirely, only to have the same thing happen again. I think it took 8-9 minutes to get in there in the end.

Logging characters in has become quite bad as well, which is annoying since the awful mail system usually has me logging out and back in so that I can get things I bought from guild stores (since I'm not always near a wayshrine to change zones).

I am also having the issue people have reported here about logging in to see some completely black characters. They change quickly but it is something I have never experienced before.

yes. Tonight is worse though. Tonight I cannot enter other zones at all, just get loading screens for over 10 mins before I just close the game.

You'd think there would be a hot patch rather than have to wait around until next weeks maintenance. At this point I'd kill for 1-2 minutes. But 8-10-15 minutes, way too long.

I have taken the recent Nvidia driver updated as surveys by @ZOS_GinaBruno in another thread but unfortunately it did not alleviate the issue with long loading screens. It takes almost 2 minutes for me to zone in to areas like Grahtwood, Craglorn and Reaper's March on my AD toon. If I go to IC or Cyrodiil I wander off for five or ten minutes to go take care of chores. My condo's immaculate now.

Not just loading screen I have a hard time getting into the game to start, just put it down to my connection, however now well I wonder. Could it be just numbers, I mean it's great for the game more players but could that be it?

And I've had to crash the game to get out of endless screen approximately 30% of the time when changing zones. Been wondering about that.

Also noted a significant drop in FPS.

I am playing on the EU Server.

Since IC has been released, I am experiencing constantly extremely long loading screens each time I zone from A to B - even within the same area like Deeshan or Craglorn..

In Deeshan I experience two up to four short loading screens when I port in via shrine. People around me appear pitch black, like shadows.

Before IC I only had the occasional loading screen of doom.

Now what did I try to fix this from my side:
I removed all AddOns and restarted the Game - Long loading time remains
I restarted the Router (even took it offline) - Long loading time remains
I even repaired the game and nothing changed...

My System:
I am running a Windows 7 64 Bit System (Up to Date and all other Games run perfectly fine)
I run ESO on an SSD 500 GB ( SSD is in perfect health and all other games, like Witcher 3 and Dragon Age 3 run smooth and fast - only ESO is having issues.)
I have 12 GB RAM
I have an Intel Hexa Core Extreme
I have a Nvidea Titan Card
I have a 25er Internet Connection - none of my other MMO is having issues (DDO, EQ2) with it. I could even watch a movie via stream while playing these - without having lag... (as I said - I could, but I don't)

Update on my post # 49.

The long loading screens start with the screen after you select the character to play with. So, I guess it's the screen bringing your character into the right place in the game world?

Also, now that I'm paying attention, I do notice that the other screens in the game do take longer to load than before the patch/DLC was applied.

Not as long as it takes the first screen to load - that's really noticeable.

I'm having longer than normal load times. But, I've noticed loading into Rivenspire is significantly worse than any other zone. Sometimes more than 5 minutes.
