Inferno needs another overhaul

As it stands this skill is outclassed by Magelight and Expert Hunter. Flames of Oblivion COULD have a use if hybrid builds were viable--but they aren't. Sea of Flames is a joke. The only builds using this skill were either 1) taking advantage of the bugged %20 cc tooltip or 2) Valkyn Skoria builds that were using it for the DoT (but they were also using Magelight for the +% magicka).

I suggest changing the skill to give DK class-based access to Major Brutality and Major Savagery, similar to Sorc's Surge (without the heal).

Invictus
Kilandros - Dragonknight / Grand Overlord
Deimos - Templar / Grand Warlord
Sias - Sorcerer / Prefect
Short answer is DKs likely won't be seeing a ton of changes before we go live; this class is still quite powerful (as it should be being a tank), even after some of the adjustments we've made to other classes and abilities.

DK IS NOT JUST A TANK CLASS. #PLAYTHEWAYYOUWANT

It doesn't actually give 20% crit its just a bug on the character sheet. Also it does more dps than inner light adds to your dps. In pretty much any scenario where I need just 1 crit buff II use sea of flames. For a stam build the only reason to use camo over sea is because it's currently totally broken and has infinite duration, which is getting fixed in the next major update. While it would be nice for both morphs to get a buff its definitely not needed.

I know many will disagree but I always thought this would be cool if it summoned a fire atronach. There I said it. By body is ready for punishment.

It has nothing to do with Skoria or the tooltip bug, it's an 800+ dps skill that consumes no resources and doesn't have to be cast. That's actually quite powerful.

feel as though this skill should have started with major savagery, then added major prophesy after the morph. As there are already many abilities that can be equipped earlier that increase your spell damage.
The biggest problem with this skill is that in pvp, the vfx's don't load properly in combat areas, so you spend a second more looking at your character "am I doing DoT? did it activate? did it throw a fireball? ..now i've swapped weapons my flame ball is gone, does that mean i no longer get the benefit" - most likely, is all of what I've just typed kind of frustrating in a 1v1pvp, even in battle, most definitely.

    Here's what I think.

Most of the toggles are not worth 2 slots out of only 10 on your bar. In Alpha and I believe early Beta all the toggles were required to be on only one bar until some people kicked up a fuss and they changed it so that they are required to be on both bars.

I believe that was a bad decision. Inferno would be super-useful if it only took 1 slot, at two slots it's really limiting you. And many other skills like Magelight or Sorc Pets would become more used and the builds would start to diversify a lot more.

Sure, some adjustments to the strength of these skills maybe needed before hand but imagine all the new builds that you could put together.

Flames of oblivion needs to go back to where it was originally which was the AoE damage + buff. If that made a return and they tweaked some of the output that would make the DK class a bit better too... but one can only hope...

I agree, that whole thing has caused so much problems. Like having to waste two ultimates on WW transformation just to get the passive to stamina recovery. Or watching your health drop each time you switch out of structured entropy. Its such a clunky system, I wonder if it's not in part responsible for all the hot swap lag, that finally forced them to put a CD on hot swap.
