Yup, Zenimax just made a stamina tank nearly worthless. In addition, the changes to the nirnhoned bonus means that crux is worth very little, and still very hard to get. The reinforced trait is more valuable for most players now than nirnhoned is. It doesn't make any sense. I'm not impressed at all.
I'm not a tank, so feel free to disregard my opinion, but I feel like we should give it more than a day. I spent a lot of time on the PTS forum (fighting for my stam sorc brethren). At the start, there were a lot of threads like this. But overtime, more and more threads started coming up of people liking the 0% while blocking change and some threads of tanks saying it is very doable, just different.
So I'm not sure, maybe it is just a flat out bad change... but I think it needs more time to test and decide.

There was, in the past, a large number of different builds people came up with that were useful. Now we are, it would seem, being forced to stifle our creativity and fall into line with what seems to be an ever decreasing number of choices: if we want to remain competitive.
They use to say " Play any class, any way you want. " but more and more that choise is being removed.

This is certainly depressing. I am VERY seriously considering on leaving this complete fail of a game behind me for good! When something pi$$es you off much more then make you happy then you need to cut your losses and drop it to the black oblivion where it belongs.
I just got my DK stamina tank to VR12 and was finally looking forward to doing some of the VR12+ content but not now. All that time and effort has been literally taken from me from the people that I give my money to. I really need to ask my self, is this crap really worth it? This game is now seriously FUBAR to be honest and it was that way from the start.

Anyway with the enchanting change they pretty well nerfed the game for me. You may say it's not that much but it is to me. I think I'll look around and see what else is out there to play.
It isn't JUST craft enchanting, all purchased enchantments have also been nerfed. It just irritates me that they nerf players and buff enemies... instead of doing one or the other. Like many others have noted, for some reason MMOs cannot LEARN from other MMO's mistakes... instead they repeat history over and over. This is an example of what ALL MMOs suffer from, the "pendulum effect". In order to make an IMPACT in the game, the devs over nerf or over buff something so that players will notice... but then a short time later will have to go through a serious of 'adjustments' to FIX their overzealous approach.
Instead, what they should do- having LEARNED from other MMO mistakes... is to make gradual changes. Also, they should learn that listening to a vocal minority is very bad for business- especially the MMO business- where new ones are popping up all the time. MMOs cannot afford to alienate players, yet, they seem to constantly make the same mistakes which in the end do nothing but alienate players.

consider yourself informed.

There is a counter to shields. the pvp is adreniline pumping with the stones. my DW got a buff which is a plus for me anyway. (since I am one of few who run it over 2H.). stam sorcs have better options. impen trait is actually useful again especially combined with the crit dmage reduction in champ points. looks like spell erosion and piercing strikes were fixed. (still need to check this out though). vigor is now available to all my toons. dawnbreaker was fixed. and i am sure there are more things. That is just off the top of my head.

Black Rose set. With the right build, you'll have close to 40K stamina. This is the new meta boys for tanks and pvp.
I've seen live streams that you basically perma-block = ie crystal frags hits you for like 1k dmg..lol
I'll leave it up to you guys to figure out the right champion pts, jewelry etc.
Type: Heavy Armor Set
Upgraded by: Blacksmith
Style: Aldmeri, Daggerfall or Ebonheart
Enchantments: Max Health
Traits: Impenetrable
Bonuses (at VR16):
(2 items) Adds Max Health
(3 items) Adds Max Stamina
(4 items) Adds Weapon Damage
(5 items) When you successfully block an attack gain 20% chance to recover 780 Stamina.
