They don't need any duration nerf at all.
They need to only give vision of hidden units to the player that drinks the potion. That is how potions work...
The idea of giving vision of hidden units to allies for ANY duration over 5 seconds -- which is how long it takes to kill a Nightblade after popping the pot -- is like making allies' damage go through sorc shields or bonus armor and spell resist or negate templar heals for the duration. It just negates a core class mechanic, which is poor design overall.
