Zeni - time to come clean with us about the real location of the EU server. (We won't necessarily divorce you if you just own up to it now - we've suspected it for a while because of the poor ping rates, it's just the lying we can't stand).
I can still log on to Steam btw, so this is not a global issue.
Different services use different network providers. Thats why you can login in to steam.
And the US outage meaning I can't log onto the ESO servers which are supposedly in Frankfurt (which is in Germany btw)?
Doesn't matter where the player lives. If the outage is in the vicinity of the game's server provider then everyone is effected.
He was referring to the fact that EU servers are supposed to be in Germany. If the outage is US only, why are EU servers down as well. I guess this point is void since outages were confirmed for the EU as well.

Do you not understand that there is supposed to be an EU server in Frankfurt in Germany. Which is also affected by this outage? HOW??? My query has NOTHING to do with where the player is based, I am asking WHERE IS THE EU SERVER? It is supposed to be in Germany.
Well why didn't you say so?
Smartass remark aside that question wasn't very clear to me so my bad.
It was quite clear in my original post about it, sorry you didn't understand.
I still want an answer as to how internet outage in the US is causing problems with a server supposedly located in Frankfurt.

Yes an outage over a solar storm means someone dropped the ball...
Maybe one of the NOC engineers opened the Six Demon Bag.kindbeer23 wrote: »This is Jack Burton on the Pork Chop Express. It's like I told my last wife: I never drive faster than I can see'em and besides that it's all in the reflexes...

Tell that to the other people that suffer in cyrodiil because the game is unplayable do to the company hosting the service. These folks should sue for damages over Loss of Revenue do to the *** poor performance of this company before the "solar storm" you speak of.. The folks that appear to be responsible for hosting this game appear to be damaging this companies earning potential.
Hmm, I just got Battlespire, Redguard, Daggerfall, and Arena last night...Dude , this just prompted me to install my steam account again lol . Going to play some Morrowind

My wife was hardcore into Perler. She bought a big container for them, but we didn't quite latch it right... and let me just say this. When you have cats it becomes like a minefield, and for months you'll just hear little beads skittering along the floors at 3:00am and you'll never be able to find it. But that cat... that cat will find it.Scyantific wrote: »What is a vacuum cleaner?
