Suggestion: New item quality

I feel like the current "Legendary" item quality is too easy to achieve. There should be another level which could be called "Mystic".
The tempers for it should be an uncommon loot from veteran group content (dungeons, trails, the new vaults in IC) and be untradeable.

    I've been playing for a year and a half (a bit more) and have not yet gotten or crafted a "legendary" so I don't think it's "too easy".
    Tenesi Faryon of Telvanni - Dunmer Sorceress who deliberately sought sacrifice into Cold Harbor to rescue her beloved.
    Hisa Ni Caemaire - Altmer Sorceress, member of the Order Draconis and Adept of the House of Dibella.
    Broken Branch Toothmaul - goblin (for my goblin characters, I use either orsimer or bosmer templates) Templar, member of the Order Draconis and persistently unskilled pickpocket
    Mol gro Durga - Orsimer Socerer/Battlemage who died the first time when the Nibenay Valley chapterhouse of the Order Draconis was destroyed, then went back to Cold Harbor to rescue his second/partner who was still captive. He overestimated his resistance to the hopelessness of Oblivion, about to give up, and looked up to see the golden glow of atherius surrounding a beautiful young woman who extended her hand to him and said "I can help you". He carried Fianna Kingsley out of Cold Harbor on his shoulder. He carried Alvard Stower under one arm. He also irritated the Prophet who had intended the portal for only Mol and Lyris.

    Order Draconis - well c'mon there has to be some explanation for all those dragon tattoos.
    House of Dibella - If you have ever seen or read "Memoirs of a Geisha" that's just the beginning...
    Nibenay Valley Chapterhouse - Where now stands only desolate ground and a dolmen there once was a thriving community supporting one of the major chapterhouses of the Order Draconis

    I don't think legendaries are that easy to get, but I can definitely see why others think so. The amount of exploit-ish farming spots such as the pigs, for example, created thousands upon thousands of legendary tanins from refined hides for players to make lots of legendary cloth/medium sets.

    Since I barely took part in the farming, I've only got enough wax to make 3 cloth/medium items legendary, and I'd rather not until v16..

    At least now the pigs were nerfed so that the chances to get legendary wax from refining hides has been decreased like crazy, though there are plenty of players with thousands of wax in their banks now.

    I've gotten 3 since original Launch :) but it is a gold and one of the rarest.

    I'd prefer to see the Legendary we have get a buff and be more...Legendary.

    I like your idea for another tier, however I'd call it "Mythical" since it sounds more than Legendary. But perhaps, at least for me, it's a bit soon to add another tier.

    No. Stop trying to make crafting useless and force group only content. No need to discuss drop chances, commonality or anything else.

    You want to gate equipment behind a part of the game that a significant part of the players don't want or aren't able to take part in. Shove it where sun don't shine.

    This is a fantastic idea. ZoS should release a new ever more impossible to achieve tier of items with every DLC they create. Just like the Vr15\16 mats require a hundred or so to create one VR16 item, we need it to get to the point where it takes thousands of items that have an infinitesimally small chance of dropping in order to get to that *next* level of improvement. Really, if it takes, on average, 5000 hours of game play to get one of these tempers, and then you need 200 of them to improve to the next quality level, I think we'll have achieved the balanced level of gameplay everyone has been looking for.

    Nah Legendary is quite not easy to achieve and if they added Mystic non-trade-able would ruin it

    Items which will function like Master's Weapons except they will be Artifact quality.

    The only way is forwards with progression systems after all. Artifact weapons will be customisable by the way, think Spellcrafting but for weapons, this means being able to change Traits too.

    Purple is called Artifact already if I recall right. I wonder why artifact is usually considered an item quality. It means nothing more than it is a hand crafted item.

    Group content is the core of any MMO, maybe you should play single player games if you want to have the best stuff for solo activities.

    And the elitists dont have time to deal with the filthy peasants anymore :D Considering I dont have a single max level character I can hardly be elitist so you should find better arguments against this suggestion.
    Not to mention elitism is nothing bad. Every community and society needs elitists to develop and evolve.
