DC needs to group up more on Azura's Star. We know that zerging EP with 2-3 guilds while spamming meteor works so we need to do it more. EP needs to be crushed at all costs and we need more numbers to stick it to them. We need more DC to be grouped on Azura's to hit them with as many raids groups at one keep as we can; if we lag them hard enough they won't be able to use prox which is their main damage and they will all die.

No... they have a pinnacle of organized guild activity at around 2-4pm my time, and blue just gets crushed, then that organization falls apart as blue guilds start to get going 6-8pm and have been rolling hard this week. It's organization and schedules, not individual skill or nubness.

I like your Greek yogurt infused attitude OP! The DC has generally been more of a ragtag group of fighters with fewer guilds of smaller size. The EP and AD have been the alliances that can send two maybe even three large guilds into a campaign during prime time. Guilds made up of players who live for PvP. That being said, the last couple of months DC has risen to the occasion and won Azura's Star.

Right now DC guilds are healthier than they have been in a long time and with leaders like EGYPT returning, SENIOR BICEPSKIN shaking off mental illness and refocusing his efforts, PAIN IN THE AX rallying everyone, and new blood like BIG TONE, INSIDIOUS, WIZARD DANIEL taking the challenge, we have what we need. Also a former EP guild, Vehemence, has finally smelled the protein and has come over.

EGYPT is a wise, honorable, and fair man. Little do the EP know but Krotha is tired of war and wants to retire and live a peaceful life. EGYPT has agreed to allow him to open up a chain of Greek yogurt shops in Glenumbra and Wayrest. And frozen yogurt shops in the Alik'r.

And I have a message for Mr. Metuselah! I DO NOT FEAR your champ points, your puppet army of followers, your Count Chocula bat swarm, your login times, your mechanical keyboard!, or your Razer Naga 7500x (with the extra clicky buttons)!!!

I WILL HIRE A FALL INTERN AT ABOVE MINNIMUM WAGE TO USE MY ACCOUNT TO FARM CP WHILE I DO OTHER THINGS!!!! And then Mr. Meth I will return to kick your BIBLICAL *SS so hard you will be flying around Cyrodiil like a pinball in PINBALL MACHINE (the Star Trek one!)!!! And when THE COVENANT is done wiping up the rest of your minions, the only thing left at the top of BLUE Gold Tower at the center of BICEPSdiil will be a pristine, untouched.... lol wut?

DC night cap the map regularly. Forgetting last campaign where they flipped the map every night to farm emp for a *** ton of players who where mostly just bad at the game. When is the last time this mid day organization you speak of capped emp and all the scrolls? Seriously this is what happens: It lags and all the good players get irritated and leave. All the DC do is force there way through the map in all the lag. They fight unorganized resistance 90% of the time and circle jerk to how good they are. Any good players who may have been on get irritated that lag favors the giant groups, and there is no way to fight back.

I logged on last night and saw meth had emp, and I didn't even waste the time of playing in the lag . The DC Zergs that always plays + the tko 50+ man zerg. No thank you some of use enjoy playing with skill as opposed to force flipping flags in lag.

Just the other day EP had flipped the entire map but one keep, took all the scrolls and crowned Meth emp while they had pop lock and everyone else was at 2 bars. Soooo yeah...

Also the DC emp farmers some of us have actively tried to discourage before and during this campaign as it's one large guild trying to do it.

This is the hand we are dealt right now, and while some of us try to spread out and bring fights elsewhere, there isn't much we can do. We enjoy playing with skill too but with how easily lag is created, it's hard to fight without it during prime time.

We just view it differently I guess, it's a faction pride thing to me. I want ever DC there is to be running around with that title, and am very motivated to crown anyone who hasn't had it before. It doesn't really matter to me if they're a good or bad player, if they've put the work in to get to #1 and are DC they deserve it. I honestly don't understand the anti-emp mindset at all, seems like people are just salty they're not able to get there...

It's not salty at all. We want a powerful emp that is going to help the faction, like EP has with Meth and AD has with Mojican. Not people that are just farming it for the title, dye color and passives soon to be removed.

The thing is that they didn't earn Emperor if 7 other people left campaign to give it to them. Not to mention that this type of behavior is detrimental to the health of the game. This is the reason most older players would not be caught wearing that tittle.

As ghostbane put it once. Emperor is not about a title, dye, or passive. It is about a few hours as a dps god.

I get that point, and it makes logical sense, except for the fact we're already winning the campaigns (Azura 4 out of last 5). Crowning our best as emps and leaving them as that will decrease competition.

I agree to the extent that the pushes for emp, be it good players or not , is teaching DC to better organize and try to get *** done. Discredit it or not, but the past campaign cycles show the increase in DC strength following the "Post-mass AD exedus and EP zerg meta era" despite peoples personal opinions.

With upcoming update though, emp or n,ot the focus will switch. Insteadofo leadership boards there will be a greater need for overall faction stability. As of right now, while the pvp crowd is starting to solidify, we will have to deal with pve players on a greater scale. They will either be tel var cows or organized pugs. But the faction with leaders willing to pull in those players at the sacrifice to overall detailed coordination, will be at a higher edge. Idk how that looks in EP or AD zone, but in DC you constantly have smaller guilds pulling in the pugs and moving their focus. They may look like a big ugly mass of AP but its that wave giving the guilds an opportunity to refocus and strategize their objectives. This will determine who gets to finish IC dailies or not and/or earn the stones.

It comes down to the overall plan.

To my understanding Minno there will be campaigns that have 100% Ic acces all the time. Namely the ones that will not have keeps in the scoring table. So the pve players will either go to those or look for a dead campaign where the enemy is locked out of Ic.

Oh OK. I misread those server changes :(

Either way, the top dog push will require a little extra work and effort from main pvp guilds, general zerg, and small group both inside and out IC. Focus on one entity of play won't predict the final standings unless you factor in the others.

It's going to be one interesting time for pvp lol

If you want to emp farm go to Chillrend or Haderus or Thornblade.

I get that point, and it makes logical sense, except for the fact we're already winning the campaigns (Azura 4 out of last 5). Crowning our best as emps and leaving them as that will decrease competition.

Can you guarantee that DC will win this round? No one cares about the past.....it's the past. Crowning the best as emps will decrease competition? I have actually seen DC get off their rear ends as soon as they see Meth or Mojican get emp because they don't want to fight such P.I.T.A. emps. So saying it decreases competition only means it decreases your own groups/guilds competition to get an solid revolving door of bad emps in place.

Azura's is fun, but you don't go into that campaign expecting it to be lag free, just consistent action. I just mainly small group towards the later hours and duo during primetime. No way could I handle a whole raid complaining about lag and blaming ZoS, just play the game, lag happens no need to get upset.

As ghostbane put it once. Emperor is not about a title, dye, or passive. It is about a few hours as a dps god.

I agree with everything that Tex said.

Also, I think you mean imagine what would happen if we continued to lag flip keeps with the 50+ people raids and meteor spam plus a powerful emp...

Except the powerful emperor part has nothing to do with competition. We've wiped Nexus with Meth as emperor if there wasn't 50+ people raids that were lagging out the server and jumping on the coat tails of others right as they are about to wipe a group or capture an objective...

The lag is what kills the competition, not a powerful emperor.

Being an EP transfer I've seen firsthand what it's like having those kinds of emperors on my side (can take on a full raid and not break a sweat)........was always fun to run in an emp group and watch the awesomesauce dps while getting that AP juice. The only thing that was not so fun was that you knew you'd never get to walk in their shoes unless they stopped playing the game (because they could stay awake 24/7 to hold their titles). So the last sentence of my earlier post is confirmed since I'm pretty sure a majority of the different faction guilds actually look forward to the competition of fighting over the inner keeps and crowning or dethroning.....minus the lag.

I hate Azura's with a passion but any other campaign you go to as DC ends up being an EP/AD gate camping zerg-fest that discourages the DC so much they keep coming back here.

If DC ends up having the highest pop on Azuras at times, EP and AD are complicit. If more players from the other campaigns actually encouraged competitive PvP you might start to see more DC trying out other campaigns.
