Jumping to group member allows you to jump into a campaign you are not signed up for?

on the pts there is only one campaign, but even if u dont sign up for it or cant due to a diffrent allianse charater already have that campaign, you can join in a group and port to that campaign. will this also happend when it go live? if so the hole system with locked campaign etc are just a bluff to have something to use your ap on??? please tell me that this will never happend.

A new problem will ofc be for those who has more than one character in diffrent allianse, why cant you set "haderus" as home or guest when u still can port with a friend? if the above problems will get fixed its ok to not be able to have the same campaign but otherwise i cant see any reason it cant.
Still a grudge, only to see false what u want and nothing less.

They haven't implemented it yet from what they have told me it's a work in progress.

There is only one campaign on the PTS so it is not a high priority for implementation there.
Magic is impressive but now Minsc leads SWORDS FOR EVERYONE!!

Have you managed to get into the PTS campaign using /traveltoleader, or using the Campaign Queue (Group)? Only /travelto<x> is being removed from campaigns, the Group Queue is staying.
In the upcoming Imperial City patch we have disabled the ability to use “Jump to Group leader” in PVP Zones however we have not disabled the ability to queue with group mates via the Campaign Queue’ing system. This means if player A is assigned to Haderus and player B is assigned to Chillrend and they are grouped, they can queue to join the others Home assignment. They cannot join each other’s Guest assignment however. A lot of feedback and concerns have been mentioned about getting stuck in a campaign that you might not want to be in, and this change is partially to address that.

The main brunt of this change however is still focused on removing the bypassing queues or gaming the queue system of campaign assignment which “Jump to group leader” got around in odd cases. Joining your group mate’s Home assigned Campaigns via the Queue will be in place for the Imperial City patch along with disabling “Jump to group leader” to see how the effects on Campaign health and population go. Couple this with the Campaign rule changes and introduction of Imperial City, we hope to see better Campaign attachment and overall competitive play increased.

As a reminder, when this patch goes live, we intend to give all players a free home Campaign reassignment so you can choose which Campaigns to join with the new rule-sets.
