Average groups shouldn't be completing veteran content without challenge. There is no problem with this.
Love the change. A++
As long only average players got issues with completing vet dungeons/vetdsa/Trials, thats totally fine to me. With some practice they can manage and no more be "average"
How boring was this game if there was not atleast some challenge included^^
My point exactly. There are a lot of average chumps in this thread complaining without trying to actually tackle the challenge.
So just because someone is average, he doesn't have right to express his opinion on controversial ubernerf to stamina regen? Just because he is average he is not allowed to complete vet dungeons? Elitist complex much? The 1% strikes back.
You want feel special? Ask ZOS for harder content. Unless you want feel "im the only one to finish vet banished cells" special after you back-pat ZOS on every unjustified nerf to cripple PVE tanks.

Players crying for BE nerf and roll dodge nerf were all PvPers because nobody uses these skill more than twice in a row in PvE. People crying for stamina regeneration and block nerf are PvE players who knows that it will be much more difficult for them and that will lead to: pugs will have issues finding tanks and have issues completing the dungeons.Peel_Ya_Cap_517 wrote: »I think ZoS is finally understanding that a handful of loudmouths crying on the forums does not accurately represent the hundreds of thousands of players enjoying this game. Agreed.
I doubt Sorcerers are happy about the hard Bolt Escape nerfs, I doubt stamina people are happy about the roll dodge change. But do you see them crying ? At the beginning they did a bit, but not anymore. Because this is balance and opens the gates for tactical gameplay, where you can't just spam or hold 1 thing all day long and succeed.
This was never intended and was never really entertaining. It's good the way it is now.
Of course you dont need when you play with your friends which know all mechanics and they are geared. I also have friends and play with them and it is easy. But have you tried to get 3 random players and try a dungeon when 2 of them are new?For most Dungeons you don´t even need a dedicated Tank now...

Top tier tanks now have evolved into doing DPS and/or Heals while tanking, the change into stam regen makes such things impossible. You can no longer tank in Light Armor, you can't do it while throwing out skills to add DPS to your group as tank, this makes tanking even less interactive, now you have to conserve every bit of stamina you have and are unable to actually use abilities. With this change it is now virtually impossible to DPS/Tank Veteran Dragonstar as well as attempting to Tank/Heal it. Sure, you can go full tank for such, but the whole purpose of this change is to make Tanking more fun and interactive (or so they said) and they're doing the exact opposite of such.
Actually 1.6 make tanking easier because all AoE attacks became blockable.omfgitsbatman wrote: »I have tanked on the PTS. I am a mediocre tank on live, and I'm not having any issues. I adjusted my playstyle a bit and everything is fine. This is not gamebreaking at all.
It is a nerf. I don't think they ever tried to say it wasn't. Just because something gets nerfed, does not mean they need to give something in return. If something generally deserves a nerf to help make the game better, then why expect something in return when they finally agree to nerf this thing?
I can tell you it's really not that big of an issue as a dk or nb tank. I don't know about the other 2 classes because I don't play them. The same people that are complaining now are the same people that were complaining about how impossible tanking would be after 1.6. It's the same names leading this charge. We saw how correct they were last time. They are just as "correct" this time.
Change your playstyle slightly. Adapt. I promise tanking is not impossible now. I've done it - and I'm a pretty average tank at best.

I dont remember that tanks were complaining. Probably light armor DPS who taught that they are tanks. Because before 1.6 you were able to tank in light armor with 1h/s and staff in pve and in pvp. After the changes they werent able to do it anymore. And again at that time most of the people who complained were PvPers who had great defense and great DPS.omfgitsbatman wrote: »Actually 1.6 make tanking easier because all AoE attacks became blockable.omfgitsbatman wrote: »I have tanked on the PTS. I know... but if you go back and look at all the posts right before 1.6 hit, you will see all of the same names that are complaining now, saying how impossible tanking was. They hopped on pts for 20 minutes, and tried the exact same playstyle that they had before and it didn't work, so they came immediately to the forums and started complaining that ZoS broke the game. They said that tanking in 1.6 would be impossible. They were wrong then. They are wrong now.
ZoS please make a change after casting a magicka skill next 4 seconds you dont regen magicka.
Seriously how do you things like AA HM or HR HM will go if your tank ran out of stam???
I agree that most Vet pledge wont be a big problem but there are such thing as VDSA last boss or hard mode trials. Try to tank em before saying l2p.
How about providing some well-argued justification for that assertion, rather than ZOS' usual dictatorial "we say it so it must be true" type of thing?ZOS_RichLambert wrote: »Couple things:

It is indeed healthy for the game. Nobody expects everyone to be fine with this change and everyone has to adjust his/her playstyle to adapt to this change. But it is not impossible.
There are great tools, snyergies, sets and abilities that players can use, that weren't used that much until now. This is a direct buff for many things in the game. Just like the Bolt Escape and roll dodge change was a rather indirect buff for some abilities.
You guys also introduced an interesting set together with this change, the Black Rose set which sounds incredibly strong and should support blocking. I even think, with all the available tools together, permablocking can still be possible, it only requires more sacrifises.

Not just about blocking but do you realise how annoying it is to relearn the game every patch from now till the end of ESO? Tge health of the game can only be fixed by softcaps, no game has ever managed to balance a Pvp/pve game with classed nevermind the option of stam/magicka and cp added to the equation. Star wars galaxies had 32 proffessions if i remember correctly and in the end they said screw it we putting them down to 6 classes as its unmanageable.
Youve effectively gave yourselves a lifetime of balance issues purely because some naive guy suggested that softcaps go. Most games are made for rock paper scissors scenario in a pvp enviroment, this is rock paper scissors lizard spock yoda bin telephone ukelele.
If we try calculate;
Gear combos
Classes
Pve
PvP
StamiNa
Magicka
Player skill
CP
Skills.etc
You will never do it, you will make us relearn a game every single big patch unneceserily. Whereas with softcaps you can actually get balance and work on content and bug fixing.
I really dont know why people suggest things to you as most the suggestions go out the window and you do your own thing and fix what doesnt need fixing and ends up borking the game. Hold your hands up admit the mistake and then start fixing bugs and adding content.
p.s i wrote this on my phone so ignore the mistakes
