Thank you for trying to show PVP'ERS love with this update, BUT here's a tip

So this is the update that all the PVP'ERS have been waiting for. This finally brings small scale combat into cyrodil which is great! But honestly we need a little more than just content, we need game play tweaks as well, which was one of the changes. Combat is probably the one area where you're getting the most feedback from what I'm seeing, and if that's not true you're still getting enough to make some meaningful tweaks to it. I bring this point up because the incremental patch to the PTS had very very little changes to combat, and with the update coming in within just a couple weeks I highly doubt that will change seeing as any change would need atleast a week to test. I love the content of Imperial city, but the new game play alienates a lot of players and has been painfully obviously neglected. With the new changes we were told our feedback would be listened to (regarding Dodge roll nerf, blocking etc) and hearing this I figured, oh ok so this is all testing, so all I have to do is tell them that the roll nerf was a little too severe and they'll tweak it. But no, even with people coming out with multiple forum threads regarding several combat issues there have not been any tweaks to it.

PS. other users please don't make this about which nerf is more important etc. My point is the neglect of game play so please try to stay on subject so we may get an actual response from zos.

    ZOS logic:

Nightblades and Sorcerors dominating PvP? Let's nerf tanking so Dragplars are even less viable!

Time to Kill is too fast since we didn't give people enough hits in the transition to update 1.6? Let's nerf damage and healing across the board, rather than just raising hits again!

Templars are 'just slower... by design'
Yes, Gina actually said that (at least regarding Rushed Ceremony) right here:

VR 16 Templar (retired until Templars get fixed)
    VR 16 Sorcerer
    38 Nightblade
    24 DK

This game have a freaking management.

It's could be SO awesome. But ZoS still screwed it like they are sadist, and love see the player base going away.

    Sad..

Their changes were made in the right direction, did they choose the best way to eliminate the problems in 1.6? Maybe, maybe not, but that's not the problem. Problem is that the PTS is for testing, feedback, and tweaking. But there were barely any combat tweaks regarding any of the new game play changes and that's where I feel like the problem lies, because it really feels like I'm testing this for no reason.

Short of bringing back soft caps, these above listed nerfs were necessary. We have all felt the hammer here (shields, blocking, and dodge rolling: the trinity). All of this 'feedback' you have provided would not be good for the balance.

The only thing they have yet to address is cloak ..... it needs a similar treatment to some of the others.

I am going to go out on a limb here and guess the dodge roll affects you the most. You don't happen to use cloak as well do you? :)

Those were just examples of things that weren't addressed by ZOS. like I said let's try to stay on subject

Guess what, there are stamina builds besides Nightblades and DKs.

Stamina builds are hit in more ways by the nerfs to regen while blocking, healing and roll-dodging than magicka builds. Roll-dodging was our main defense.

Vigor and Rally are the only cross-class heals to rely on; the large heal from Rally is not nearly so large anymore.

The regen nerf is the hardest, because as soon as I hold block, I will probably lose 2 ticks of regen. The sad thing is, these changes will be worked around for the builds it was meant to nerf.

Magicka DKs are still going to be blockcasting, Bosmer Nightblades will still be (perma)dodging, and Sorcs will still be shield stacking and face tanking three people.

All the other builds that only dabbled in these defenses are the ones that will be squeezed.
