I am V2 with the first alt I ever did.
I died twice on my way up and killed Molag Bal while on the phone spamming one key ( I can do the same with any world boss).
Am on Caldwell silver running from one skipped dialog to the next spamming impulse.
Can someone tell me where is the challenge, the gameplay, the reason for this meaningless chore ?!
The boredom I feel is no good for my long term comitment to this game.
The obvious and sensible solution would be to unlock for any v14 char with let say : 250 cp, a v14 alt with all fighting skills unmorph and 50 skill points. And a second one at 500 cp etc ... No alliance points however. Nor pvp skills.
There are no valid reasons whatsoever not to do this as the leveling of an alt is with this amount of cp is absolutely of no challenge and doesnt feel in any way like "playing" the game exept if you enjoy "god mode".

Console is still a challenge, not so much from the content as to the players you end up with. Land of tanks with no taunt, DPS with no health but still initiate every fight before everyone is ready, healers who are really just DPS but queued as healer so they could get a group, and generally half of most groups aren't on mics and with no text chat they have no idea what's going on or what to do.

That's why I always chuckle when I hear Templar tank with randoms. They neither heal or tank, mostly a waste of space.
I realize it can be done with success, but 99% of players shouldn't attempt it.
...

That's the problem with MMO's tho, you cant just intentionally nerf yourself, when there's other players around. So I have to use my 350 CP on my lowbie alts, because you and everyone else is doing it.
If I decide not to place them for less easy mode, than I'm at great disadvantage when questing, grinding and leveling. I mean the maps are pretty crowded, grind spots are overrun, quest hubs are never empty. It's frustrating as hell when you get 0 exp and cant finish because some inconsiderate CP pimped dude is 1-2 shooting everything in one AoE.
But when I place my own god-mode CP I can *** him right back. Kill the mobs before he gets close enough to sniff them.
I guess it's no longer the mobs or the bosses that are our enemies. It's other players lol. I blame a combination of CP and the massive nerf to overall difficulty.
I agree at lunch the game was much harder. However that might be because I had no crafters so my gear was crap I also managed to miss some areas so was under levelled. I like champion points and new chars being over powered. However I wouldn't mind not having to do Caldwell gold and silver on ever alt

Now you can essentially one-shot her everytime.

Remember when you actually had to use soul gems and you had to learn to fight. That nerf made the new players soft. I am happy to have the CP on my alts. Then you have the players who say I am bored. BUY A NEW GAME. Don't sit on just one all day and there are other games besides MMO's. Here is a short list for you; The Mass Effect trilogy, all the Fallouts, all of the REAL Elder Scrolls, all of the Bio Shocks. Feel free to complain in another thread about being bored I'll list a couple score more great games and series. Yeah its a jumble of replies but you get my point.

Doshia where a little too much overpowered back in beta especially due to the fact that in 2 on 3 alliances the fight was in a small room and block 2 of the healing spheres was impossible.
The tone down was necessary since a level 8 boss it can't be to difficult, on another side the vr levels are to much easy (i've done them before the nerf and after) at vr1 you are supposed to know how to play and maybe a little bit of challenge is welcome .
Step 1) People Cry that the game is too hard. Leveling is "impossible"
Step 2) Zos listens to the forums, forgetting that the people who are happy are playing the game not posting on forums
Result ) Game is made easier
Step 3) People complain game is too easy
Step 4) People that were happy leave
Step 5) Zos need to make game free to play
Step 6) Zos now in catch up mode because they listened to the forums and the 12 year olds who wanted it all now.
Precis
If there is no challenge, nothing to work towards ALL games become easy and stale. People know this, but they generally don't care. The average console player on envisages playing this game for a couple of months. So they should not be used as a poll to what PC gamers are after.

Doshia was perfectly fine. It was an actual "Boss". It took me about 10 tries when the game launched (or was it beta) to take her down, and that's what a boss should fee like. There is absolutely zero challenging content in the levelling experience today, even when you don't wear any sets. Even veteran dungeons are getting steamrolled. It's been ages since I actually feared a boss
