I came back to the game a few months and submerged into PvE. Ignoring the macro user threads etc. Not that I didn't believe them. I just didn't care. I'm a long time fan of PvP but don't like the build = better in PvP in ESO, but really do like builds.. So I just enjoy it in PvE for now. I'm well aware of weaving etc and can actually tunnel vision myself out of stamina light>skill>bashing if I don't pay attention (not that anyone bashes much anymore).
So the PTS comes out and I decide to test around thinking get some information on my stam Templar and see if enough has changed that I want to mess with LA/staff chars again. Next thing I know Im into PvP again because it's so fun on the PTS. Yet, in very not so laggy fights. None at all to be precise. Im getting ctirtal rushed/killed at times.. Looking at the death logs it's critical rush/teleporting strikes/morphs into a heavy attack with either dizzying or surprise attacks insta gibs.. So I call up my two sons 18 and 19 years old that I've had PvPing in DAoC since they were 5 and 6. Am I lagging? So I continue though the district and as they watch me fight with no lag.. The same guys rush/or teleport into heavy swings use skill skill then youre insta dead and all you see is the initial critical rush or teleporting strikes. Some of them are masking it by opening with a heavy attack into dizzying swings a few times executioner.
Im not crying. It's really only a few players out of hundreds. It just reminds me of how much I use to love shooters until the aim botters showed up. You would call them out. They would call you a noob and tell you to learn to play. Then 2 months later after you quit the game, when they have eternal guild fall out, you would see them snitching each other out for using aimbots.. Then everyone would decide everyone uses them so its okay to use them.
I don't know why I make a post. Its 19 years of PvP experience to say.. Out fo 5 days of massive PvP testing I have definitely run across 3 players who are using 5 skills in 1 second. Two of them are so blatant to heavy swing after a gap closer in them.
