That's basically what Hiath amounts to, except he summons a bunch of adds, and it's definitely longer than 5 minutes. You know what I always thought was neat? The TERA "BAM" system. Big monsters running around that you can fight to test your skill. Usually ridiculously long fights that are more tedious than anything, but one wrong move in the 5 minutes of widdling away its HP and splat you go. Think Monster Hunter.
I think I would enjoy that.
From reading this, I've come up with a question that has always confused me:
Why are people equating MMO with PvP?
I thought MMO was playing in groups to successfully complete goals while PvP was just arbitrarily slaughtering other players for no other reason than you get a kick out of humiliating and destroying other players and stealing their stuff.
I know I'm probably wrong, but, at this point, that's my experience with PvP. I'm staying well away from it until I "Git Gud" and that's going to take a while.
Heh, I snuck through all the Craglorn delves alone to grab those skyshards. It was fun and exciting.
While I will try IC as a subscriber, I hate to think I could be killed by an immature "teabagger". Call me carebear, but corpse desecration is not my thing.
Anywhom, I'll never understand players who are so solo minded that play in MMO's. Then they demand more solo content? Last I check MMO's should be about interacting and playing with others, otherwise why not just play single player games?
However ESO does draw an interesting line between multiplayer and single player. I don't know what to think about it some times.

The IP is all about solo PvE and not PvP.
Most MMO's are 70%+ PvE for a reason.
PvP screws up PvE and it always will.
When you tack on PvP you screw up both parts of the game and prevent both from being as good as they can.
Why are companies still trying to understand these facts that have been around since the 90's ?

I've been running around Craglorn with my VR10 for a little while grabbing surveys and harvesting, and in that time I've had a bunch of practice soloing groups of Craglorn mobs - including some of the ones with a named mini boss amongst them. The other day I decided to try to solo one of the Craglorn delves. It was a cake walk until I hit the delve boss... Not sure I can solo Craglorn delve bosses yet! Maybe I'll try on my VR14...Heh, I snuck through all the Craglorn delves alone to grab those skyshards. It was fun and exciting.

I play mostly solo PVE - I come from a TES background, and this is my first MMO. I'd love to see more solo PVE content.
Having said that, I can't disagree with ZOS adding new group content (Craglorn, vet dungeons, pledges) and PVP content (Imperial City) before adding new solo PVE content, just because so much of the game is solo-friendly. I'd like to see some actual challenging end-game solo content, but I don't think it's needed as much as the other categories. Actually, one thing I'd love to see is a couple of dungeons where you can select if you want it to be regular or vet, and you can select if you want it to be scaled for solo, a group of 4, a group of 8, or a group of 12. The regular versions would all share the same story and bosses regardless of how many people you scaled it to, and the same would go for the vet versions. The differences between the scaling by number of players would be in the number of mobs present, the health of bosses, and the mechanics of the boss fights (when scaled to solo play the fight wouldn't have a mechanic that required one player to rescue another, for example, but when scaled to a group it might). Probably have slightly different loot drop for the different versions too.I've been running around Craglorn with my VR10 for a little while grabbing surveys and harvesting, and in that time I've had a bunch of practice soloing groups of Craglorn mobs - including some of the ones with a named mini boss amongst them. Yes (well, the next DLC after IC, which hasn't actually dropped yet), and I'm looking forward to it, but my point was that new PVP content and group PVE content have been prioritized over new soloable PVE content for a good reason.I play mostly solo PVE - I come from a TES background, and this is my first MMO. You do know the next dlc is PvE content right? And the one after that and the one after that, right?

Demoria
That's a death match lol
In pvp you work as a group.
You pick your role in that group
And you achieve capturing towers as a group
Which I believe gives your alliance extra stats for grinding quests.
And I remember somebody talking about running round Agroing several bunches of mobs and its way to easy,
No offence but that's only possible with the right spec for your character, somebody could easily spec the wrong way or for focusing on single target mobs making farming not possible

What in Oblivion are you talking about? I'm not crying about anything! I said that I'd love to see more solo PVE content, but that I think that there's already a lot more of it than there is of PVP and group PVE, so I feel like ZOS made the right choice in adding content for those playstyles first. How exactly is that crying? Well if you know it's coming why would u cry about it now? Wouldn't the time to cry about it be before they informed everyone it was coming? And not even coming, but coming this year, and the next 2 in the first half of next year will fill your needs as well.

So maybe next time you should actually read the posts that you reply to.
Are you kidding me ? Pvp is what makes the game.... The reason your levelling and obtaining gear is to be a beast in Pvp, how can anybody crave for more boring grinding quests that 99% of the time get skipped unless a decision has to be made,
I was looking at the trophy stats for ESO on my ps4 and it says only 13.1% of players have earned the rank of Recruit in the Alliance War. Is it that hard to reach that rank, or are the vast majority just not that into PvP?
Anyway I thought the stat to be telling about player preferences, at least on one platform.
