It’s time to take control of your destiny for your faction in Imperial City, but who could stand in your way but the other factions? Fight for honor, glory, and most of all, test the lag in an all faction battle royale on Wednesday, August 5th at 8pm CST within the Imperial City Memorial District on PTS!     @ZOS_BrianWheeler figured give you a heads up about this event since you wanted to test lag i hope to see you on the field of battle or as a general watching from up high :)

    That's a good idea, we need to have a stress test with pop locked server to see how it's going to perform. As much I hate them, I hope the blob guilds join the party too with their lag trains.

    Which timezone is CST? Is it the UTC-6? Do you have DLT savings on or off now?

    Thing is, I'd love to take part, and I will try to attend with my AD templar... But no sure though, as I normally work late in weekdays. And (if the time is on UTC-6) it'll be a little to late for me on my TZ :)

    We'll see when the time comes :)

    Greetings!
    I'm new to PTS but I'd like to try Imperial City. I joined ESO this Spring and have only one mid-level character so far.
    Will all experience and loot gained in Imperial City remain after the PTS session over?
    I'm not sure I would like it becasue my character level is already somewhat ahead of current zone quests.

    everything that you do on the pts stays there has no effect on live accept anything we find that is a bug we can report and they can hopefully fix before patch goes live

    I give up. Can't get into Cyrodil on test server, when I do I crash in 2 seconds. Not worth it, alas. Hope Zmax fixes before it goes live but I am not getting my hopes up. I am pretty sure its a load issue but stll...

    Same. We were finally able to stay connected for a while, but by then the fight had devolved into each faction standing on their spawn platforms trying to lure people over so they could bombard them. :(

    No wait! Don't lose hope... there's a known issue with the new black silhouettes they added that are causing crashes. Did you try editing the UserSettings.txt with the workaround for it?

    EDIT: Here's the original post! Try it before giving up :)
