Only thing I can think of as far as being guessed from what we know is in Cyrodiil, reducing healing, damage and shields by 50% up from the 15 or 20% now. It works twice on some of our staple abilities.
For example, BS will be a 35% smaller shield and therefore already reducing the damage it can do by that 35% along with the extra 30% damage reduction.
The morph of jabs that heals us based on damage done will hit 30% less damage causing it to heal 30% less along with another 30% taken off the heal.
Just speculation but I wouldn't be surprised if they hadn't accounted for that. Just like when they wanted to nerf 2 or 3 specific shields and just did the blanket reduction the last time, screwing our shields on top of increasing it's cost.
Now that I think about it, the Radiant Glory morph works the same way, heals you by a % of damage done. So it will also take a double nerf to the healing portion...
So that makes 3 Templar abilities that will take a double nerf...
/sigh Yep. You are right. F*** me! I know this will go "unnoticed." Time to level the magicka based NB and spam cloak since BE, shields and Roll are getting nerfed.
u dont understand it or? yes, shields and healing will be reduced by 50% - correct. But damage from all sources also. So in fact, if the shield and the damage will be reduced by 50% the shields will be stay as long as they did before before.
but i think u can still cry about this "nerf" lol.

Hmmm... pretty sure that against quite a lot of the tough content that even they will have quite a steep learning curve (If the polite way to put it).
We've got to wait & see I guess... but It looks like a lot of worried tanks out there... and most of them are DK's.
There's only so many earthen heart abilities a DK can spam to get stam. Nowhere as efficient as 25% from one spear synergy.
Personally I kind alike that tanking is going to become more interesting & interactive... I'm just concerned that unless there's lot of ability changes for the other classes that Templars are just going to become a requirement in just about every group.

Even as a magicka based templar, without spears or potions I can tank any content in the game (except AA axes, I need spears then) and I am far from a great player, I don't even use block reduction enchants either. Worst case, with the change I will need those enchants and will need potions or spears because as Temp I don't have other options.
NB has caltrops and siphoning strikes to go all day so their game plan won't need to change, though without caltrops it will be trickier.
DK stamina focused tanks may struggle, but a magicka one can cast Obsidian Shield all day long, along with Battle Roar they really shouldn't worry at all, especially if they just focus on high magicka regen not max magicka and instead have decent stamina pool to go with it. Essentially a replica of my Templar tank but getting to gain lots of stamina. Lucky ***.
Big changes always bring panic, but when the dust settles people see things are not so bad.
