We all know who the exploiters are, and ZoS needs to actually do something about them, Not just let them run free while they are abusing exploits. Every other MMO I played, If someone exploited the game for their own gain, they got banned. If they continued doing it after the first ban they would be IP perma banned.

ZoS, Stop letting the exploiters walk all over you, and the community, they are getting away with things they shouldn't be. Make an example of those exploiting and ban them, just like the bots. If you don't put your foot down now, more and more people will abuse the exploits because they know you'll do nothing and they will ruin the game and experience for tons of people.

IC will be ruined completely if those in question are not resolved. Doesnt matter if they ban the people abusing it, but if they do NOTHING to stop the exploits then IC will turn into a "who can use it better" situation and anyone not using them will be free TV stones. Just wait, it will happen lol if it doesnt happen then they fixed how the exploits worked and my faith in ZoS will have been restored! LET ME SEE THEM PATCH NOTES lol

I mentioned this in another thread, but it's relevant here as well. When PTS launches IC, Why not attempt to duplicate some of these bugs on the PTS. If they're still in, is there no reason it shouldn't be discussed (in the appropriate places) and shared in detail for others to attempt to verify?

I'm not sure if this is a gray area or not, but keeping it strictly relevant to PTS while encouraging other users to attempt the same bugs for consistency reasons is the entire purpose of the PTS, right?

Because players only have speculation as to how they achieve it @JTorus

But the dev's *do* know how they do it, they have to at this point. So yeah, the specific issue of those individuals might be less easy to openly discuss in debugging and testing terms on a PTS thread, but some of the other more known bugs/exploits are more accessible to everyone.

As for those individuals who must not be named, speculation revolves around sets, items, and abilities. I think the patch notes will cover some set changes, if not, fine, but why can't ZOS set up special vendors in the PTS that will issue any and all gear (including the new stuff) at zero cost. Everything should be available for testing, to all players. Maybe to try out some of that speculation and see just where it goes.

@JTorus if they did it would of been fixed by now. This has been a issue since day 1 sadly. Any attempt at making it known results in moderation of thread or closed thread

The overload 3rd skill bar isn't an exploit. Hopefully people know that..

Having a 3rd overload bar itself is not the exploit.
The exploit is equipping toggles like inner light and bound aegis on overload bar, and somehow taking them off or not using them in front bars but still always having them active.

    This thread is extremely pretentious.
Please just call it the witch hunt that it is.

For the record, calling the mistform animation cancel an exploit but not calling weaving an exploit is hypocritical. It's the same thing.

Another thing to consider, despite the constant whining on the forums and video posting, do you think if they were actively cheating or exploiting ZOS would allow them to remain in game? Do you really believe they have not been investigated? I mean for crying out loud, people get banned for lesser offenses ALL the time. Think.

I got killed in pvp, nerf everything...

For the record, lag and bugs are something to concern yourself with way more than the actions of an alleged four.

Consider the current lag in cyrodiil, now imagine a smaller area with even more people doing the same thing.

@Xael so you are saying that skills that normally do 10k damage to people and only doing 0! (That's a critical) 10, 20, 9, 3, 100 damage is normal or caused by lag or bugs? If it is a bug and they are abusing it that is called an exploit..... think lol

Well, I hope they chime in on this. I know the moderators on the forums are simply enforcing rules, the details and subject of the infraction are less important to them than maintaining the this forum's intended atmosphere and function. That's where I'm genuinely curious if the same thing will happen in the PTS section. At this point the majority of the development team should have this content update in their crosshairs. Everyone should be working on it in the same manner that everyone was working on console release before it dropped. It would be foolish if all of the players didn't make use of this opportunity. If the entire point of the PTS is to ensure the release works properly, that means cleaning up any issues that would ruin the content (as you pointed out in your opening post). That and just about every other bug/exploit plaguing Cyrodiil. I see no reason that being (politely) insistent upon these changes is out of line.

IC will either be the content update to bring back more players, or drive more away from PvP

@ZOS_RichLambert Maybe you could /lurk here too and keep this in mind when PTS updates?

Also for the record @Zael yes I do believe they would remain in game. Why you wonder, well because I have reported at least 10 people I caught exploiting into keeps via teleport through walls, sorc streak exploit through the air and other various methods. Those were CLEAR exploits and those people are still in game today. With video proof when requested I might add.....sooooooooo how's that?

You're complaining about two quite different things here which are: (1) the overload toggle which enables skills like inner light and bound armour/aegis to stay up without taking a spot on your quickbar as a sorc and (2) What ever the fast moving eyelid guy and his episcopal friend use to mitigate 90% of incoming damage.

The first one is nowhere near as game breaking as the second as it gives a slight advantage but doesn't make you unkillable by any stretch. The second one is the killer for me. Any ideas on how they're doing it as I personally have reported them on multiple occasions and got emails back saying they're being investigated but they stay in game? It seems bizarre but ZOS have investigated but yet these two still aren't banned which leads me to think that maybe there its an unusual and very little known but legit build as otherwise they would have been banned by now.

Let me get this straight right here right now. You mean to tell me that all you ESO build geniuses and PTS scientists have not figured out what those two are up to? Not any of you? Not Sypher or Deltia?

So you mean to me they are literally the two most powerful in all ESO? They tapped into a power higher than anyone else here?

Please understand that our team takes reports of cheating and exploiting very seriously, which is why we encourage all users to report suspicious behavior in-game, whether on console or on PC/Mac. Filing an in-game report is the best way to make sure that the user and the situation are properly investigated. Once the Imperial City is released, the process for reporting in-game actions will remain the same.

As this thread has lead to several instances of naming-and-shaming, we are now closing it. Again, we encourage folks to file a report with our Support Team if you feel a player is exploiting or violating our terms of service. Thank you for your understanding.
