Grow up and read current testing status from Brian:
"The bots were casting a variety of abilities including AE's, also while fighting sweepers, base-pop and each other. They were clustered tightly so all of the combat resolutions had to be done in a single server cell which is the most strenuous. Now we aren't saying "huzzah! It's cured!" because this is just a single test and as we've stated, isn't a silver bullet as there are plenty of other scenarios we still need testing on."

I've been hearing this for over a year so I've grown up quite a bit. Every time the community starts getting fed up and screams lag they always throw us a bone that doesn't work. I've heard "lag fixed" over and over and over. Now I'm on the side where I don't believe anything they say and would much rather be proved wrong.

A year ago they didn't know what is causing the problems with the lags.
In the meanwhile they did identify the major reason for this and now they do the testing as confirmed.
You are saying that Brian and team is not trying to improve the game or working on it, you make no sense.

They know exactly what caused the lag. Half this forum can you tell what caused the lag and exactly what patch it was introduced in. It isn't a secret...
Once again, if you are part of a large guild and you start experimenting such big lag issues in your campaign, it means that your campaign is over saturated. Re-home somewhere else. And when you bring your 24men group on top of another 24men group in a max pop campaign, don't expect anything else but lag over the whole Cyrodiil penalizing everybody else. If you want to run a full large group, pick a campaign which isn't pop locked since the caps are obviously too large still to support such gameplay. Oh and stop spamming 50 billions of standards and meteors. This is getting really old.

I don't see the problem tbh. Other than the obvious l2p of course.

It's not just the numbers that account for lag. caltrops is a major, major culprit which doesnt get talked about nearly enough. and you have probably 20 people spamming it in these kinds of encounters
zos knows, they're just too lazy and incompetent to fix anything.

Just had about 18 EP players gather in a ball outside a keep that we were assaulting. They just balled up wand started casting all their ultimates and AoEs. I saw at least four standards go down and meteors and the thing was, none of the AD players were even close enough to them to take damage. They lagged the server out, could not place and siege.
I truly despise these exploiters on the EP side. Every exploit there is, and they are using them.

Just because you saw EP doing this does not mean it is an exclusively EP activity.
