Not as to why they disbanded but as to why they lost credibility just like when some of Alacrity members decided it was a good thing to use exploits to capture scrolls behind the gate to try to prove something to ZOS.
Did you really just claim people getting forum bans made people lose their credibility? Really?
No he claimed they lost credibility when they used exploits to capture scrolls.
I know a lost a lot of respect for AOE for participating in that garbage. There is nothing that justifies that kind of play, nothing. People can try to downplay it or whatever but exploits have riddled this game since day one and I know quite a few people who have quit playing it over people using them.

Yeah. Forum bans are a way to gain major props in this community. I read that as they lost credibility for exploiting like Alacrity myself and would agree with that. Of course I didn't really know Alacrity was doing it too until this thread but I stayed out of all of those Scroll exploiting threads.
The exploits frozn is talking about is him being a hypocrite at best, we did what DKs were doing to keeps and every clown in this forum have done in one way or another. Hypocrites abound, but feel free to agree with frozn if you want on this, its your choice. My choice is to point out the hypocrisy and how stupid it is to somehow say jumping into a keep is different from jumping over a wall based on purpose.... that is horseshit. We proved it could be done and literally told ZOS employees the first time we did it how we did it in the next meeting we had with them. It took them months to fix it because their original solution was just to make a guard hit for 10k which was NOT a fix.
And since apparently everyones credibility is being put on trial here, I didn't nor even could I have jumped over the wall as a templar.
Hypocrite for what? I admitted I used leap to jump on top of walls to fight people like alot of other people. I don't think that change alot the course of the campaign to try to fight a couple players on top of a wall. It would be different if I would be trying to flip the flags or to get a scroll, which I haven't done. It is also much different to jump on the other side of an enemy scroll gate while the gate is closed and to capture a scroll and run it to the other side of the said gate with the objective to get that faction's scroll population out of your last faction's emperor keep to save it when Zenimax a.k.a Brian Wheeler mentioned several times in forums that it is strictly forbidden to get on the other side of an enemy scroll gate when the gate is closed.
The fact you draw the line on the "intent" of the exploit in what makes something the exploit instead of the actual usage of the exploit boggles my freaking mind.... intent doesn't make something an exploit or not an exploit, you don't get to somehow argue jumping a wall here is not an exploit, but jumping a wall there is..... and it only is because the intent on jumping it is different that is the most cognitive dissonance BS I have ever seen.
I mean... hey we jumped the scroll gates to eventually kill people, we rarely if ever actually capped it, we'd run it somewhere to farm/kill people... so by your logic all we did was really the same thing you did.... and krim already addressed your other claim.

I have no idea what you just said. What I know is people from said guild jumped on the other side of the scroll gate to capture scrolls and to bring it on the other side of the gate to bring attention on them and help defend their own keeps in the meantime which was forbidden by ZOS, end of story.

If you cannot understand what I said you're a lost cause. I'll let observers decide whether you're a total hypocrite.
For you since you apparently need it spelled out, you jumped walls just as those you claim did, the purpose of jumping walls doesn't make it exploiting, jumping walls makes it exploiting. So don't throw that stone in your shiny glass house. Just because your wall jumping you felt didn't impact the taking of a keep or campaign much doesn't suddenly make it not an exploit.
ESO is the best online game ever.

Using Leap to get on top of keep walls have never been forbidden or called "exploiting" by any Zenimax staff members. Using Leap to get on the other side of closed scroll gate has been declared bad and exploiting several times as mentioned in the following thread :
http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/comment/1528048/#Comment_1528048
If you want any more proofs, I can keep searching in forums and find the dozens of times Brian said so.
Or we can drop it and move on.

I find this all flattering to myself and Decibel. After we are done raiding Inflicted.org's server, might see you on ESO again.
I play AD, but have a lot of respect for DC, as all their players seem to be prety good and well organized, and seem to do well even when outnumbered.
