Abilities Bar greyed out and not working at all.?

Makes the game very difficult to play , to say the least. Is this a known issue? I logged and tried again, but nope, I am unable to use abilities at all.
Help would be appreciated please. :)

    Some abilities only work with certain weapons equipped don't they ?
    Usually greyed out if you have an ability on the bar that doesn't work with a certain weapon

    Yep. So I just checked my other chars and it exactly the same. Abilities all greyed out....with Bow and dual daggers.

    @Sidney Of course! :) I completely reset and reassigned skills on both ability bars (I'm at Level 15 so have weapon swap). So far so good on my main char.
    Still have no clue why the bars greyed out in the first place...but the little blighter got me killed a couple of times..But problem solved. Hopefully.

    Just happened to me on last boss of falkreath hold...couldnt use any skills ...so frustrating.
