Since I never have played MMO, I guess I'm confused what MMO actually is actually.
Thus far it just seems like hordes of other players wandering around getting in everybody's way.
Even in groups, it's impossible to keep track of who's where and what's going on. I've tried grouping a total of twice since I bought this back in June and, both times, I completely lost track of my team and there doesn't seem to be any way for me to keep track of them because there are so many other players running all over the place and just about everybody seems to look exactly the same (other than class).

That's because you are one of many unfortunate souls playing ESO on a console.

I'm pretty sure I ended with a preposition... Sorry.

Yup! It seems like anyone who is bringing up the whole single-player argument simply has no idea what they bought.

I´m happy with my purchase and my single player gaming. That´s all that matters really. The fact that I CAN enjoy it as single player probes that this is part of the TES series and that as such, it keeps the "do whatever you want" motto.
I don´t think I could do single player in WOW, or LOL, that´s why I wont buy them.
ESO in its current form would be a poor single player TES game. It's too linear, too easy and the zones too fragmented.
If you want Skyrim 2, you'll just have to wait for Bethesda to (maybe) release it someday. In the meantime, there are a number of great single-player open-world RPG's out there to play, including Dragon Age Inquisition and The Witcher 3.
ESO is an MMO. It was never meant to be Skyrim.

To be honest, playing an MMO on a console, you'll never get the feeling of what an MMO is. The community just isn't there, and the communication is severely lacking.
