I would have bought TESO if it was like Skyrim, may be with a small option for multiplayer.
Multiplayer is a must for you in TESO?

I know this question might appear weird for an MMO, but personally (and I know a lot of people that think similarly), I would have bought TESO if it was like Skyrim, may be with a small option for multiplayer. I guess it boils down to know if PVP or collaborative playing is a must for you, or you would still be happy if Tamriel would be single player only or mainly single player.

Dont get me wrong, the graphics are great, i mean your character looks really cool and detailed, but on another screen you look like low resolution gaming on pc.

I'm not confused. It's a game where everybody and everything is trying to kill you, and I don't just mean the monsters and bad guys built in to the game. It means that players of a higher level than me will literally make it a point to hunt down every lower level player they can find and simply slaughter them for the fun of it. Because they can. That's what an MMO is, not playing a game with friend. This MMO (and I'm assuming most MMOs) is about follow the leader and do what they say.Bones_PXOXM wrote: »I know this question might appear weird for an MMO, but personally (and I know a lot of people that think similarly), I would have bought TESO if it was like Skyrim, may be with a small option for multiplayer. To clarify I didn't mean Skyrim Online, I think it's great that we see more of Tameriel and each race (instead of mostly focusing on just Nords). And no I hate the idea of a tacked on multiplayer.

Sorry, I'm not a follower and I can't stand being told what to do. When I'm strong enough, I will go to Cyrodil and kill all of you!
Oh wait... now I'm starting to sound like a PvPer. Maybe that's a good thing.

TES series has always been about whatever you want to do.
Personally, ESO IS a game for me, since I spend most of my time there without interacting. I appreciate how alive Tamriel looks with real people, but I don´t interact much with them, only with friends from real life.

Here is the prblem some people have understanding...
ESO is not part of The Elder Scrolls series of games.
It is an Massively Multiplayer Online game set in the world of Tamriel.
Just as...
The "Amazing Spiderman Experience" at Universal Studios is not part of "The Spiderman" series of movies.
It is a "Theme Park Attraction" using the theme of "Spiderman".
Can you play the MMO solo?
Sure.
Can you go on the ride at Universal Studios alone?
Sure.
It still doesn't change what each is desinged to be.
Seems simple to me.

I don't even know where to start responding to this.

Yup! It seems like anyone who is bringing up the whole single-player argument simply has no idea what they bought.

Oh, we know what we bought alright. It's just that they hyped up the single-player side of things for us consollers and we were in for a nasty surprise once we actually got in to it.
MMO is fine, but, frankly, most MMOers are not exactly pleasant to play with. Y'all are insane!
