The snow elves ARE around. They are called the Falmer.

This. The Dwemer are the ones that enslaved the Snow Elves to begin with, and then they poisoned them leading to the eventual "de-evolution" of the Snow Elves into the Falmer. If the Dwemer are gone, the Falmer have "replaced" the Snow Elves. While there may be a few around, it won't be many. Definitely not enough for a playable race.

As for finding out more about the Dwemer, I would like that, but I don't think ESO could do it justice. I'd rather see us delve into the mystery in a single-player game, and still have it generate more questions than it answered to begin with. I don't think they ever want us to "solve" the disappearance of the Dwemer for certain...it's too much fun having that "mystery." I feel like if they were ever going to completely end the Elder Scrolls altogether, we MAY see them explaining then...but more than likely they'd leave us in the dark...grinning their little troll-grins all the way to the bank.

Yagrum may not be infected with the corprus yet. A date for his infection is never given, all he says is "I searched for thousands of years for a sign of my people and never found any" So he could still be out and about Tamriel. I would like to see Yagrum become a recurring character like Vanus Galerion.

this would never happen even though it would be kinda cool just to get some of the mystery unveiled but it would go against the lore of the future games that have already came to be

The Dwemer have vanished and are still gone in other Elder Scrolls games which take place in the future, it makes little sense from a lore perspective to make them appear simply to vanish again. That being said, lore is flexible.. but I don't feel it's that flexible.

The only thing i see working is them saying the Dwemer who was in Oblivion somehow procreated and that his line died off before the events of oblivion or skyrim. But i think he was part mechanical so I'm not sure that would even work. I mean the did almost the same with Snow elves and Knight-Paladin Gelebor in Skyrim.

You can read about him here, basically he's not part machine, the machine is used to support his frame as the Corprus Disease has left him bloated and unable to move. He made no reference to other Dwemer and stated in over a thousand years he hasn't seen any, so I feel it's safe to assume they're all gone. Perhaps, but a small pocket of Snow Elves being introduced to the game as NPCs is a bit different when compared with a race that vanished in an instant.

I don't know, the lore is pretty black and white in this situation.

I don't think even that would be viable. In TeS crossbreeds resemble the mother more than the father. See the grey prince in Oblivion.

Beside the dwemer ruins and machines (spheres and spiders) all the same can be said for dwarfs.

This is exactly what I suggested elsewhere! I think the Dwemer could have an entire DLC focused o them and their lore Imagine poking around a seemingly random Dwarven ruin on Vvardenfel and being accosted by Yagrum Bagarn. This could open up an entire quest arc similar to the fighter and mages guild. With many difficult solo instances with unique rewards at the end. Hell, could even tie it in with the Snow Elves and Falmer.

Say Yagrum takes you to a ruin in Skyrim and whilst there you're ambushed by a group of Falmer, wave after wave of Falmer rush you and when all hope is lost arrows begin raining down from above. Wide eyed you look for the source of your salvation and see a group of a dozen extremely pale elves They question you and upon realizing Yagrum is a dwarf haul the both of you off to their Chantry to mete out some vengeance of Yagrum (despite the fact his clan had nothing to do with the enslavement of the Snow elves). you're then obliged to sort it out and save him. Either by diplomacy or the sword.

A dwemer centered DLC would be such a spectacular opportunity to introduce things to the game.

Crossbows
The spider mount Yagrum rides in Morowind
Dwemer forges for unique armor sets

In ES universe dwarves= dwemer. There are no little bearded man on Tamriel there were only bearded elves, who were called dwarves by Skyrim giants and later man started to call them in the same name.

Maybe in some other continent there are little bearded man but there are no records saying that they have ever visited Tamriel!

There's pushing lore and then there's disregarding it. When you seek to add new races (i.e snow elves, imga, maomer) in this particular era, know that you will always be skimming that line.

However, in the case of dwarves I think I can safely say that any reasoning/retcon for adding them as a playable race leans more toward "disregard" than anything else.

I would be ok if they added some Snow Elf NPCs or Yagrum, but not as a playable race.
