Bolt Escape / Dodge / Blocking / Shields Nerf

The 50% increase to bolt escape will now stack indefinitely after every repeated streak.

Dodge Roll will have a 33% increase to cost after every dodge.

You no longer regen stamina while blocking.

Battle Spirit Buff: 50% Reduced Damage and 50% Reduced Healing 50% Reduced Shields (Increased from 20%)

With BE nerf, nerf for damage shields is now 50% instead of 15% and buff other classes, i can confirm - RIP sorcerer.

If this change goes through - and I am sure it will - I will quit the game. It's excessive and an obvious attempt to cater to the casual and QQers who lack the skill to kill sorcs. Based on everything I just heard in that stream, it is pretty obvious they Zenimax do not have a f^cking clue.

Can we give every ability in the game this tax? Cloak, reflect, and breath of life plz. I dont really bolt to escape, its my only class direct damage spell besides the noodle exe dd.

Just finished leveling my 4th and last class to v14. All of my alts are at least rank 15, have all weapons/armor to 50, and max undaunted.

Well, you gotta admit the original 50% penalty did little to discourage sorcerers from chain-bolting into the sunset, as it was intended to, especially after the removal of caps.

did you expect anything else? every patch just makes everything regarding pvp worse

It needed tweaking, but this nerf completely removes it's purpose. Twin this with the shield nerf and sorcerer survivability just dropped considerably. It's *** and it's designed to satisfy the QQers who seem to make up the bulk of users on this forum.

so Sorcs lose survivability, nbs lose rolling, dks lose block casting. everybody roll templar, jesus beam and heals, nothing but jesus beams and heals.

To be honest the sorc never has been a glass canon, just a canon with great mobility ...
And its time to change this, as a sorc I cannot expect to hit like a truck, while having shields on me like a mother ship and disappear with warp.

Of course many of us liked that but it was a luxury class habit , nothing else and just a matter of time when this will be changed.

There were so many whining threads about Sorcs being dead after 1.6. Certainly didn't turn out that way. I wouldn't freak out until all the changes are reveled and tested.

Changes to block casting are not actually changes that will really help for PvP as much as you are probably hoping...

it will utterly destroy PvE tanking tho... and thats not fair for those players.

SO runs you get one shot if you don't have block up even as the tank with 32.5k Armor and stacked midigation bonuses for block when fighting the manticora if you dont have well over 30-40k hp.

How do they expect me to tank like that with my ping being as high as it is? Magicka shield st-- oh wait shields get nerfed as well! Guess i'll have to go 70k reisistances! What it caps at 35? well .. guess i'm quitting after that *** hits the fan.
