Maybe because it was released in August 2012. It's also a very different game and it's definitely not a true comparison.
so wait now your saying B2P is not the same as another B2P game.
So if i am not allowed to compare B2P games to F2P games and i cant compare b2P to B2P then what can i compare it too?

Look at the improvements and content that was added by GW2 in 1 year vs the no content released for ESO.Gandrhulf_Harbard wrote: »Bacongineer wrote: »It's also a very different game and it's definitely not a true comparison.
Is this going to be your usual weak fanboi response?
Oh, no, that doesn't count its not a true comparison.
Is this really the best you can do to defend Zeni?
They must really be indefensible.
All The Best
I'm not sure we are playing the same game anymore? The complexity of the world in Guild Wars is low. Empty landscape, empty houses, empty caves. It feels like an old F2P game. I am most certainly not a developer of Guild Wars 2, but I've done my share of programming and I'm fairly sure that GW2 is easier to add content to than ESO.
Also, I am not a "fanboy" by any means, I am merely being realist and comparating MMOs, even if they both are B2P MMOs, is not a fair comparison, every game is very different, and the development process for each is also going to be very different.

Lol at everyone saying "be patient" and "you can't expect new content all the time".
Erm, at launch when we all paid for the game and then continued paying a subscription we were promised new content every 6 weeks. In one year plus, what have we got? Craglorn. That's literally it.
We have been patient, incredibly patient in fact. We've waited and waited and we've forgiven broken promise after broken promise and here we are still waiting. It's about time people actually started getting angry and demanding ZOS give us what we have been paying for for so long. Polite and civil feedback does not seem to get them moving at all.
Or, maybe it really is just not ready yet.Sorry but that is BS. This is not them unable to release content. This is them with plenty of content but being greedy about releasing it to have the greatest impact across all platforms. If they wanted to release content they could but they won't until the consoles are ready to digest more content (at the continuing expense of PC players who paid subs for a year).LatinLegacy wrote: »You will just need to learn how to be more patient. Craglorn? Whats that? Oh, you mean the material gathering zone...Lol at everyone saying "be patient" and "you can't expect new content all the time".

Do me a favour and google Marvel Heroes, then look at their patch notes.
Then look at ours.
That is a completely 100% free to play game, no money down, no purchases ever need to be made to play, ever. All from a small company.
Now look at our patch notes, supposedly from a triple A title MMO, backed from a massive company with a HUGE budget, that does require people to actually buy the game AND has a subscription model still attached to it for further benefits plus the cash shop on top of that.
How the heck are we not supposed to be pissed off?
Huggernaut wrote: »bs! I was permabanned from MH (completely my own fault, a misunderstanding with the store, but still, my fault) and all I had to do was send a PM, boom, fixed. Still couldn't play for a week, but a week is a helluva lot better than forever.
If your friends were banned, they would've gotten an email explaining why and they damn well knew why lol. If not, they could've simply emailed the appeals address and asked for an explanation and they will give you one.
I've never met ANYONE ... EVER, that got banned and didn't know why.

Marvel heroes is a fun.. yet small game. Where the game devs pretend to listen to feed back.
But what they really keep doing is fluffing the game up with pointless updates in order to goat players into wasting money. You can grind and gear you toon up, and in a few months your toon is now underpowered or needs to be re-skilled and re-equipped. Skills that you you love, might be broken..
Also the fact is.. If you really don't like how Gaz is doing things and express your views.. They will ban you in game without reason and ignore you no matter how much money you spent.
Marvel heroes is the 1st game i've ever played where all my friends where banned.. For no reason. And when they ask 'why?" they ignore them. ..With no reason given. Seriously.
ESO is HUGE compared to that tiny shoe box of a game MH. And it took MH over year to get their game to run smooth.
MH is a joke when compared to ESO.
Screw this be patient ***. I have been patient, I was playing during early access (during one of the beta's really but that doesn't really count), and since then, all we have got is an overhaul which didn't do a whole lot, and Craglorn, which is a piece of trash.
I am so over this. I have spent far to much time and money on this game than I should have, if I had have known how appalling the delivery of content was going to be, I doubt I would have even bought it, what to speak of subscribed for as long as I did.
Don't get me wrong, amazing game to begin with, but after repeating the same stuff over and over without any new content (like I said, apart from craglorn, whch I have already stated is terrible and completely uninteresting), and without any real improvements while constantly being promised "Soon™". I am just so sick of this. I want to love this game, but I can't even stand logging in anymore. I just check the forums sometimes, because that little glimmer of hope hasn't completely died in me yet, but it won't be long.

Some thing is better then nothing. We have nothing here. The Devs are no were to be found. Content is missing for over a a year now.
Yet MH gets new content and updates/bug fixes almost weekly.
