The key to enjoying MMOs for me is to take them slowly, my characters are pretty much the same levels as the OPs and I've been playing since the original PC launch. If you put in a massive number of hours each day and rush around so as to make that sort of progress inside a couple of weeks then I think you're missing the whole point of MMOs. Far too many players are obsessed with the so-called "endgame" and as a result they get burnt out before they even get there, and once there they complain because they've run out of things to do. MMOs are about enjoying the journey, not racing to the destination.
In ESO the endgame is where it's at.
You must just be a beast, carry some noobs thru some group dungeons..I've been playing for about 2 weeks now, and up until now I thoroughly enjoyed it. I have hit 33 on my main toon, and have a few alts ranging from level 8-20. I have done dungeons, solo instances, part of the main story, mages and fighters guild quests, I've started crafting (which get's extremely boring and repetitive).. I tried pvp but f**k me, I get obliterated within seconds. This is something I quite like though, it gives me something to work towards, but I can't play this game for the pvp alone.
I feel I've experienced a lot of what this game has to offer, and I'm finding it extremely difficult to remain immersed. I listen to all quests (apart from the ones I've completed on another character), I read a fair amount of books, mainly the lore books, but I'm running out of things to do that grips me.
Pve combat is WAY to easy, the only time I've died in this game (during pve) is when the game freezes and force closes, which is seriously starting to *** me off.. But that's a rant for another time. I can solo Dolmens just 1 level below me ffs, and Dolems with a group... it gets blitzed within just a few moments, absolutely 0 challenge in this game, why don't they scale depending on the size of your group? Is this something that will be done in the future?
World bosses are a joke.. The CC in this game is extremely overpowered, I use my ice staff and freeze them in place every 5 seconds and they just stand there, getting battered, again 0 challenge
And lastly, I heard this game is severely lacking in end game content, so that's not something I'm looking forward to any time soon. Literally just kill mobs and grind for some kind of points? That sounds about as exciting as a bucket of spit.
As the title says, how do you guys squeeze every last bit of enjoyment out of this game? Please no trolls, I just want a general, mature discussion with some witty banter.
Cheers.

While leveling 1-50 if you're looking for a challenge: Solo world bosses, solo public dungeon, solo dark anchors. They are all very doable and even easy for people if they know what they are doing. Still it provides some forethought at least. Maybe even a death or two to consider what you are doing.

P.S If you are getting owned in PvP then join the Non-Veteran campaign, only level 1 - 50 players so you won;t get killed by max level players.

I guess this is one of your first MMOs? Anyone you gets bored of crafting after 2 weeks is used to being given a weapon and being told who to kill. And crafting wasn't implicated for your enjoyment, it wasn't added so if you get bored of slaughtering people you can relax, it's meant to be used to help you in battle, either from food/potion boosts or simply giving you the best armour and weapons with a nice enchantment.
From what you have said it seems like you have missed a lot of the in-game content. Farm reagents for potions, or ingredient for provisioning. Go fishing (make sure you research a bit first so you know what bait to use and where, otherwise it is boring and annoying). Go steal some things and sell them to a fence. Go house to house, breaking in and steal anything of value, pickpocket. Take a step back from killing, and then play the game, you will see how much 'fun' you missed. Go hunt for treasure caches, chest or lockboxes. Do group dungeons with friends. Fast Travel to a Way Shrine, pick a direction and walk, you will likely come to a new quest.
If you don't find any of that fun then I'm afraid you're playing the wrong game.

If you are already making posts like this, then ESO is not the game for you. I've been here since launch, still subbed, and still enjoying it.

This^^^^ Not every game is for everyone, if you gave it a good try and played with an open mind, and still don't like it, there is really nothing anyone can say or do, the game is what it is.
[The only real problem I have with the game is the difficulty, it's too easy. Everything else I guess I need to learn more about.

I've never played an MMO before.
I started playing this game ... hmmm April of last year? Not sure. Over a year.
Anyway over time, I have found that subsequent character sometimes had it easier and it took me a while to figure out what was going on. I'm getting better at the mechanics of playing the game. By that I mean the reflex to get the heck out of the red; the summoning my Winged Twilight back in the midst of a fight to keep on with the taunts & healing; the don't stand in one spot, even if there is only one boss - keep circling around it.
Its not just knowing intellectually that those are good/ tactically sound things to do. It's habit. Doing them.
Add energizing with a group (even one you know and it adds a whole new level of complex and insane.
I ask you to consider how long you have played (and learned) MMOs ever. Now consider the skill level you had - as a player - at two weeks in on your first MMO ever.
As a designer - ESO has to take into account players like me and players like you. Sounds to me like that's never going to be easy.
So for me, a year in, I'm finding that when I group with people who have similar player skill levels to mine (which I am lucky enough to do on a regular basis) I find that as a well-synergized group we are at that unfortunate balance between feeling that non-vet undaunted are pretty easy. Most group delves in the world are a cakewalk.
And even the "easiest seeming" vet pledge gets us wiped. Humiliatingly quickly.
There is a bump on the learning curve of maximize build, deal with the "timers" that produce ungodly amounts of adds, and just ... habitual skill; that we have not .... quite ... reached. I suspect you passed that choke point long ago, possibly even before you came here.
Folks like Sypher - well when I watch his videos, he's so good that I literally don't even understand most of what he's doing and I'm looking right at it. Deltia's a little better because he'll talk about the mechanics and the stuff he's doing - but lots of it is lost on me.
I get that you miss the "oh-god-I'm-gonna-die" rush of adrenaline. And I also get that you will never have it again in quite the same way. I think most of the posters on this thread, myself included, are trying to point out that other things, other aspects of this game can be fun, and we hope you can enjoy them.
We are all here to have some kind of fun.
^^That is almost worth a sig. lol
But why is this even a forum topic on an MMO in the first place?
If it was a single player game I could understand, but this is a MMO for god sakes! There should not be a feeling of " well that was fun.. now its over in ANY MMO.!!
ZOS.....!! FIX THIS PROBLEM :'(

I did join the Non-veteran campaign, but I still get destroyed. One problem I'm having though is not being able to join any other characters on a different faction in the non-vet campaign. Is there any way to leave the campaign? What's worse is after the 5 days are up, it automatically resets! So I have to wait another 5 days, and on and on it goes. How in the hell do I work around this?
