The consumable writs have good rewards for max crafters - especially the provisioning ones. You get an amazing return on your small investment of time and materials with the provisioning writs, a decent return on investment with the alchemy writs, and an OK return on investment with the enchanting writs (only because they're probably the best chance to get Kuta - otherwise they would only barely be worth doing).I wish the daily Writs had better rewards for max crafters. Not experience but something worth while. What good is 20k inspiration to a level 50 anyway. Why not translate this into more gold, maybe 2-3 times the normal would be a decent bonus for being at max level. Or better items on the writ reward works too.

Crafting should give leveling exp as well as crafting exp.. that way people can level up doing crafting instead of just gaining exp on the crafting skill
Crafting is significant part of the game for those want that playstyle. I would welcome some XP for new crafters to help them on their early career. Crafters are those who first play the game and then bring the hides back home. And wood. And stone. And plants.Giles.floydub17_ESO wrote: »Crafting should give leveling exp as well as crafting exp.. that way people can level up doing crafting instead of just gaining exp on the crafting skill
First, crafting should not and never be a significant means to level a character. Play the game.
Second, crafting in eso does provide XP by doing the crafting writs. There you are, they already provided you with your wish.

But i am playing the game..almost 50% of my time goes to crafting.. i pick everything in the world because of crafting..i then manage inventory on main and some alts because of crafting..i spend much time on town doing research, deconstruct, writs, potions, glyphs and food.
I play the game..GW2 did it very good. I am all for crafting giving experience
works very well in archeage online.. idk how it wouldnt work out on ESO and alot of people are complaining about lack of training areas VR11 ~ VR14

but you could look at it this way... two people start out their careers. One decides to be a chef and one an adventurer. Both enough to get to level 50. Now they all approach Molag Bal.
The Adventurer says: "I have whet the edge of my axe on hundreds of your kin! My arms have brought my blade down to cleave the skulls of your foulness that has washed upon the shores of Nirn. I stand before you a seasoned warrior, ready to repay you for the torture you have wrought upon my land, my people, and my FAMILY... MOGAL BAL, TONIGHT YOUR HEAD SHALL BE ON A PIKE!!!!!"
The Chef says: "AND I BAKED TEN-THOUSAND SWEETROLLS!!!!!! HHEEEEYYYAAAA!!!!!!"
I can kind of see why crafting isn't a viable leveling method. heheh.
You're right, they said you can play as you want and you clearly can, they never promised you all the gear you want.i play the game this way.
90% crafting
5% PVE
5% PVP
How can I level my champion points then?
Where is justice?
You said I can play as I want, give me Exp thru crafting!

Sites offering to sell you about 100k gold for 15-20 usd.
Well...it'd certainly be really easy for some people to powerlevel.
I agree with the core concept... but man. I outleveled 1-50 zones CRAZY fast. I want ways to level slower, not more quickly.

Isn't that the place we're trying to Not go?
Boost xp so you can sell xp blockers.
Cheesy holiday games and gimmicks to get people to spend money
Store icons in the middle of your UI
Mithril coin icons over every npcs head so you can "buy" more dailies
More Mithril coin icons on your quest tracker so you can zip to the turn in
Buy everything you need to level your Legendaries in their store
LOTRO is no longer an example of anything except what we Don't want in this game.
