The crafting is my biggest draw. The way the game feels is another plus. Running around in first person feels real close to a single player TES game. And the way they reward exploration. Chests, skyshards, finding new quests since they're not tied to a quest hub like WoW (just for an example). They really made it play great.

I found Skyrim a few years back and bought it for £2 or something, thinking it sounded interesting. I love(d) it! I spent months playing it, totally immersed, and just hoped that one day there would be a game that would be online.. and this is it. I think the game is brilliant so far (leaving out the well explored teething problems), and only today I discovered the one thing that kinda disappointed me - housing.
Apart from that, it is fantastic. I love being able to chat to other people well immersed in the lore, as I became, and can appreciate how much this has progressed... I might even take down my Skyrim map from the wall, and replace it with a world one (If I can find one)!

I may get frustrated and write improvement posts sometimes, but this is why I love ESO:
    • It's either relaxing, or dynamic
    • Some things are easy, but some things provide challenge; take your pick
    • Gorgeous scenery and details
    • Great character creator with which I was able to make exactly what I wanted
    • Great class and skill concepts (although I think there are a lot of great ideas on this forum that would improve those)
    • It's got a lot to do (single player, duo, group, exploration, dungeons, quests, talking to npcs with great voice acting, minigames, fishing, crafting, leveling)
    • It's overall refined
    • It's pretty groundbreaking in terms of immersion and combat in a massively online game (the combat feels pretty close to SP)
    • I can feel "at home" in the world, immersed in my character

    So far for me its:

    * Graphics are beautiful, you wouldn't think you were looking at an mmo
    * development - so much choice and depth to how you can spend your points and what you can branch out ti
    * Crafting, usually the bane of my life is very enjoyable, being able to spend points to increase your abilities gives something to work toward which is fun
    * Combat, no click and point nonsense with hundreds of cool downs, fighting is actually fun and engaging
    * Exploration, the map is huge, there's absolutely loads to get lost in and search out when concentrating on a quest is too much effort
    * The detail in the NPCs and what they say. Someone else mentioned about all the little things they say and it's right, you don't feel part of a world where everyone is a copy and paste Jon and coder you walk back and forth.
    * Story so far is enjoyable, the side quests are excellent. I'm not a big story gamer, I tend to skip cut scenes and play purely for the actual game play but I've found myself reading and listening to people and very much enjoying a lot of the side quests I have done. No killing 10 boar, handing in, going and killing 15 rats and collecting 5 lizard legs, returning, killing 20 pigeons and ferrying their feathers to an npc

    Love it so far

This sums it up pretty well for me. I've been levelling multiple characters in the 1-50 part of the game solo PvE since launch and am loving it. It's very much my main MMO home now although not the only game I play as I don't reckon to burn out on any one game (let alone one character). I've just added a second account in order to try additional builds and extend my inventory options.

    All of you.

❤️ To you, all of the team and devs. We know things can get heated at times, @ZOS_GinaBruno but there's a lot to love in the game.

    The immersive world
    The beauty of Tamriel
    The music
    Dolomens
    Dungeons
    RP experiences
Sheogorath Quests for the Mages Guild

And that's just a few. Keep adding to this gorgeous game please. I'm looking forward to Imperial City greatly. And Orsinuim.

yes, big thumbs up to @Elloa and really everyone in there too.

Sorry i didn't mean to underwhelm with my simple "well done" comment, simply because it was SO AWESOME-EST that i don't have the words for it.

Well done for ZOS and huge well done for the community. I played a lot of MMOs in the past and this truly one of the best online community I've ever seen. And that's right, a huge part of it thanks to ZOS' full support back to the community by showcasing them in news or what not.

    Well WELL done everyone.

What I like about ESO? Well....
    • The freedom in character builds
    • The graphics
    • The lore and storytelling which most MMOs do not have or are of a deplorable quality.
    • The lack of 'typical' MMO quests like "Kill X number of Y monster"
    • The character progression system
    • The relevance and accessibility of crafting in this game
    • The lack of a prominent gear treadmill
    • The ability to play this game solo if I so choose. Or with a group if I'm in the mood.
    • The economy/current trading system (though it could use a few adjustments).
    • The UI is nice and clean but more importantly, seldom ever do feel a distinct need to read damage numbers and the like which many other MMOs tend to put emphasis on. The add-ons are a nice thing too for those who want them!

    :star: The gorgeous graphics
:star: The khajiit creation is amazing. This one is cuter than all others.
    :star: The immersion
:star: The awesome voice acting in so many areas and the fact that every quest is voiced.
    :star: Being in 5 guilds.
    :star: Armor dyes
:star: Picking what armor styles to use and being able to mic and match pieces
:star: The fact that every support ticket I've put in has been answered thoroughly and quickly
:star: The world itself!! It's huge and this one looooves exploring and discovering new things.
:star: Being rewarded for this one's love of exploring
:star: The game itself. It's wonderful and amazing and awesome and fun!

Last two patches improved performance and quality of the graphics it seems, without too much fanfare about it.

Thank you @MissBizz for the sweet words! <3
And thanks to @Grundiin to start a little bit of posivitiveness!

I love ESO for so many reasons... Those that follows me know that I'm a true fan!
    • I love the quest, the stories, the lore, the immersion...
    • I love the landscapes, the beauty of the world, the little details you find everywhere...
    • I love the ambient sound, they are just amazing. The soothing music. The beautiful light
    • I love the combat, the feel of it. I love heal and I love hit stuff with a sword!
    • I love, love, love the Dungeons. They are gorgeous, fun, with fun mechanics, interesting and challenging
    • I love Craglorn and the feel of adventuring with a small group
    • I love crafting. Its fun and relaxing. And it feel useful.
    • I love the possibility to customize my character how I want.
    • I love the devellopers and community managers. They seem like cools persons, creative, kind, talented, passionated. Many says they lack of communications: I disagree with this: Never saw devellopers trying so hard to establish a relation with their community
    • I love the community aswell. I've the feel to be part of a family. I'm not even playing with most of my friends here. Still consider a lot of poeple I exclusively meet on forums, TwichTV, Youtube, or Twitter or Anook as friends. Don't need to play with them, we share the same passion.

For me, it is mainly the graphics and that its about Elder Scrolls.
It is light years away from TES single player experience but its OK.

THIS GAME SERIOUSLY NEED A HIGHER RES TEXTURE PACK.
It would bring new players. nowadays graphics are very important and people wants beter graphics every day.
So,many people would come to play the game if they upgrade textures for sure.

Of course the graphics can always be better :) but remember that ESO is one of the MMO's out there with the best graphics, so i dont think that the graphics has much to do with the playerbase.
