If she sits by her sewing machine ignoring everything around her for hours on end, sewing completely useless things and spending so much time and energy on her sewing hobby than other parts of her life are neglected, then yes. If not, no. If she actually felt she had to cut your game controller cord to get your attention, you owe her an apology and a change of your priorities, not a retaliation.Would it be equally just for me to toss her sewing machine out the window?

Buy her some flowers at the florist next to Best Buy, tell her that you love her anyway. She will be amazed at your sensitivity and understanding which equates to more game time because you are just that wonderful of a spouse.

I am not sure there is any suggestion she did it intentionally. I managed to cut the cord on our headset once by running over it with an office chair after accidentally knocking it off the desk.
You have a more positive view of your fellow human beings than I, and I admire that, but the OP implying that possible retaliations would include him throwing her sewing machine out the window (deliberately), or strangling her (deliberately) speaks against your positive interpretation.VictoriaRachel wrote: »I am not sure there is any suggestion she did it intentionally.
Somehow she managed to cut the cord on my Razer Hex and I don't have a back up (My fault).
Would it be equally just for me to toss her sewing machine out the window? Put bleach in her laundry? Strangle her? ZOS got my back on this???

This. Internet forums have a tendency to respond with "Apples are red" when you ask "What color is the sky?"
A reasonable human would read the OP and sense a deal of sarcasm, along with the indication the cord cutting was accidental when I wrote "somehow managed."
The point of the thread was to promote fun and a few laughs, not to be taken seriously to the point of
- marriage counseling
- divorce
- playing too much (Because dedicating about 4 hours a week to my hobby of ESO is certainly "too much")
I tend to forget how many door knob personalities are out there.
