I go on, feed my horse, empty my hireling mail, and suddenly realize there's nothing in this game that interests me anymore. This has been happening for about a month now.
I want to enjoy it, but I've been V14 since like a week after we were able to get to V14...I wish the game was more open world and less instanced, I wish I had my own house to decorate, I wish there was more raids which didn't involve 12 people standing and AOEing with their fire staffs....
I have about 50 days gametime....I think i've just burned out. Will there be ANY new content at all? I don't know anyone who plays this game anymore. It's quite sad really. I have no intention of making an alt because I've done every quest there is to do & the levelling is so long.
Meh. I'm a huge ES fan but now i've come to realize this game is painfully average, so much wasted potential
Personally I find the forums more of a game than the game itself.

This is the key to playing MMOs in my view. No developer can be expected to keep up content-wise with people who play a single character in a single MMO for long play sessions day in, day out. Those players who favour that playstyle need to accept that it will give them extensive periods in which they'll need to find something else to do while they wait for more content to be added.

MMO's are supposed to be more than rushing to get to the top of the heap and killing people.
Hang out, go to an event, heck even Role Play. It's alright. No one can see you and anyone that makes fun of you can suck it. It's not like they're going to out you to your RL friends and family for ENJOYING THE EXPERIENCE.

There is your problem right there...re-roll, and slow down a bit, listen to the stories. Go off and just hunt, DO NOT twink your alt.
You raced through the game as fast as you possibly could and now you're bored?
It's like going to a museum, going through the front door, literally sprinting through every aisle, getting to the exit and complaining there isn't enough art.
ZOS is a business. As a business, they (most likely, I -could- be wrong) want my money. As someone who likes the concept and lore of the game, I want to give them my money. Now...since when is 'go away and stop giving me money, come back in a couple months and maybe I'll have something for you to buy' acceptable?PoseidonEvil wrote: »you lack the will to endure lol. if you dont like ESO right now leave and play something else..after a few months come back and there should be some new stuff to do lol..

Is it just me playing too much, or is it because we've had no new content for 8 months?
Mathius_Mordred wrote: »Hmm, this is a big problem in MMOs, the secret is to stop playing the moment you first feel like that and then leave the game for some considerable time. I see tons of guys saying the same as you and in their signatures I see a shed load of alts at VR14, I can't imagine the amount of time they must have invested to do that. I started in Beta, wasn't that impressed, got back into it last September and I'm now VR9. Still got the last two zones of Cadwell Gold to go and have not visited Craglorn or Cyrodil other than to do basic training and the blacksmith drop offs in Balkarth.

However even at my pace I know I will run out of content faster than ZOS can create it, it's simple arithmetic, I finished TW3 in 85 hours, 85 hours in 2 weeks, how would MMO devs ever keep up with that?
I also see people running from quest to quest like crazy trying to level up, imagine if it were real, your hero would perhaps do a new quest every week or month, not several a day, he'd be worn out no matter how much stamina he had.
So take a break, a good long break, play something else, read lore, etc. Then hopefully when you come back it will feel fresher and there will be new content for you. Good luck.

Well, what should happen when you hit VR14 is that the game should really open up and you should have plenty of things to choose to focus on.
The problem is that at VR14, there is such a content bottleneck that people say "why even bother logging in?"

The problem is the lack of Fun repeatable content
See here and you will understand but this is just for pvp and i have shown the same in the player housing etc.

Why is it that we can play things over and over and still have fun i.e PvP World of warcraft,CS,WCFT,Halo online rtc etc.
It's because on how its done and its something i hope Zeni learns and worse was at quake con they used an arena for a tourney (see the video in the thread).
