"Forgotten wayshrines" - new Cyrodiil idea by QuadroTony

    - you can use wayshrine only from other wayshrines, not from the keep
    - the ownership of a boss will provide small movement speed bonus for all alliance
    - the buff and wayshrine ownerships longs only 1 hour or so
    - that would give a temporary advantage that would not completely destabilize PvP.
    - when boss become wounded more than 50% health all players of all alliances in cyrodiil will see the icon of the boss like "under siege"
    - so remember other alliance can come and interrupt your battle, it must be extremely fun

    Also Quad i have done up a world boss segment in my series and i believe these bosses could be closer to world of warcraft mini bosses.
    Where it takes large groups to take em down also maybe if they went this path these bosses could give a small buff to everyone who dealt (x) amount of damage to them. :)

    I think that only the last hit should count.
    Stealing a boss would be quite a lot of fun! This means that the alliance doing a specific boss would have to put up sentries to prevent sneaky thieves from getting too close.

    but i think its hard to balance tho, and alot of whine will inc

    @QuadroTony Its not the question if its pbp related pve ... thats basically every pve in some kind or another
    its a question of principles and i really dont want zo have even more pve in a pvp area when ressources that would be wasted for it woul be brtter invested in such things as improvin performance or bringing pvp content

    (ill just ignore ur try to offense me personally by saying i wouldnt read properly cause it doesnt bring anything to the thematic)

    Maybe they should come with an "inverted" Anchor system.
    (Instead of the Anchor points coming together at 1 point, they spread out to make enough room for the titan to spawn).

    Make it some sort of keep system. Instead of the Mine, Farm and Lumber Mill you have anchorpoint 1, 2 and 3.
    Each of the anchor points will function like a "normal" Dark Anchor, where you have to kill the daedra to cut the chains.
    These Anchor points will have a Daedric enemy density comparable with a Scroll Temple (4 waves + a "Boss")

    Destroying these 3 Anchor points will stop the Daedric Spawn which will happen in the center.
    The Center will always be very Crowded with Daedra (besides the uber boss). This Daedra Crowd will be equal to around 3 "Scroll Temples", and have a 100% uptime (a kill equals a new spawn) until the 3 anchor points are destroyed.

    Having only the Boss their might make it too easy, because an NPC can only focus on 1 enemy (thing) at the time. Having 20 Siege engines will basically mean you can nuke it down. Having a lot of Daedra protecting it and making siege/ nuking it harder might actually make it an interesting fight.

    Wow, was not expecting to like this but as I read on it really came to life. I think it's a fantastic idea.

    There's some overlap with the IC DLC so ZOS might consider it a bit redundant but for epic scope alone, and the unique new element of the three alliances meeting there with ambiguous, overlapping but contradictory goals, lays the seeds for a lot of potential great stories and times.

    Maybe only putting it in on one or two campaigns will satisfy the 'anti-PVE PVPers' who want a PVE-sterile environment.

    Of course, it requires a lag free environment to be anything other than incredibly frustrating.

    But if lag were solved to acceptable standards, I'd almost consider buying a game with that premise alone, never mind the rest of what Tamriel has to offer.

    Brilliant idea! I wonder if giving the boss a task to perform would make its arrival more epic. Like, what happens if the Boss goes undefeated? Does it destroy keeps? Does the boss roam? Is it going somewhere? Maybe it's attacking the imperial city since that's what Molag Bal is after.

    Great core concept though! In other Zones I like the idea of unattended anchors becoming more and more dangerous. In Cyrodiil, a boss sounds fun!

    like adding 2nd floor with places for oils

    On a serious note yes i agree events should always play out over frozen events.

    Take Anchors for instance:

    -Anchors dont spawn as often any more and instead now every 5 minutes they get stronger versions of the monsters come forth. But it does not stop there they start to roam out of course there has to be a limit on how far they head out also they get stronger should they kill a player.

    Hell every 5 minutes spawns a patrol party that are search and destroy units.

    New players must ban together and the older players can roam and protect others.

    Then throw in some achievements, account wide tabard and a title and boom you just created a demon hunting job and rpers will love you.

    Go even further why stop there like in warframe bring forth hit squads for the demon hunters say after killing x amount of daedra you get a black mark on you. Daedric hit squads will target you and should you be close to a anchor a hit squad has x percent to spawn and will focus on killing you but should you kill them the mark is removed.

    Ok. So I realized that my idea of War Mount Siege Weapons would go PERFECTLY with this idea.

    The problem is, giant kaiju type creatures aren't really in Elder Scrolls' wheelhouse. There would have to be some pretty good lore writtem to explain what's going on.... or not. Lol.

    Ok. Here's my idea for some of the beasts:

    Giant Flesh/Bone Atronach that is composed of the faillen soldiers of Cyrodiil. As it is damaged, pieces fall from its body to the ground. Those pieces rise again as Zombies/Skelton warriors. When the Beast is finally slain, it breaks up into a dozen or so normal sized Atronachs that also must be dealt with.

    Giant spriggan trying to reclaim cyrodiil for the trees. Raises spriggans as it moves about. Collapses into lurchers.

    Giant frost atronach. Followed by ice wraiths. Collapses into smaller frost atronach.

    Can you pls be so kind and GTFO with any PvE ideas from cyro. Devs, same to you.
    We have "not very good" pvp, which is most of time ruined by occupying slots PvErs.
