They couldnt handle fighting even numbers on Thorn (oh no we are so outnumbered with our three full raids all stacked on crown spamming purge) that they took that to Azuras and literally crushed it.
gg.
Also, just to vindicate some of those EP on thorn - yeah some of you are jerks, and a few of you were definitely exploiting lag at some points, but the AD blobs in those towers with the purges were just disgusting. That yellow guild causes more lag than anything I have ever seen. I saw it first hand when 20 GoS tried to take on their three full raids all spamming their BS. To know I was a part of that... is kinda embarassing. =/
It was also quite satisfying to watch GoS crush them in an 8v8 gvg fight, in retrospect.
It wasn't them that crushed it, it was dealing with their giant laggy blob of doom while also dealing with Misfitz and Decibel at the same time. Too much, too many players, and all flowing in the same direction due to the lack of a third faction on the server.
Utterly unfun to deal with.
But when we caught just them? Yeah, they got wrecked. Because bads.

Definitely not the guild from Dawnbreaker anymore, that is for damn sure.
I died a little inside when I heard the raid commander say in TS "from now on, every one of you is to have either purge or cleanse slotted, and you are to use it every second or third button press"

The new TKO is just a big zerg guild.

Not a fan of drastic change. Had been there for a year. It became crystal clear to me about four-five weeks ago when I was running in a 10 man GoS group getting more AP/hour than i had ever seen in TKO, while fighting four times our numbers on Azuras... it just finally sunk in. I was wasting my time carrying a bunch of really bad pugs. I tried to get the other officers to listen to reason and trim the guild fat, get rid of literally half of the thorn pugs they picked up.
But when I started getting called names and cussed out by the guild leader in TS, belittled and told I have no idea how the game works, it snapped, gquit, their loss. Takes a lot to actually make me mad. People think I rage on the forums or whatever, im mostly a troll. You know that, but I can admit flat out that I was truly angry enough to literally hit someone with the trash that was spewed to me at that final officers meeting.

Whatever way you find the most fun is the correct way to play the game.
But hurling abusive invectives when being offered valid criticism is a good way to drive the best players away. The old guild I started with on Bloodthorn did that, and look where they are now -- dead and gone.
Which keep was it

Not speaking of Decibel I am pretty sure it was Misfitz, recognized quite a few of them. Haderus is full of ad who have been trying to hold it for months. I'm not sure why Misfitz decided to bring 50 ppl to keep after keep after the post that Crown made but thats 100% what i saw.
I left the group an hour ago and we had 20 people after I left. At no point today did we have 50 in our group.
Well thats just not possible, i'm just stating what i saw which looked like 2 full organized groups or more, zerged down empty keeps on a guest campaign because they are done ruining azuras for the day. Also the second group had emperor in it, who so kindly 1 shot meteored me being the only source of ap in the keep. I wish i had screenshots but ill have to next time i guess
Then you are assuming people were part of Misfitz who were not. I was running with Misfitz for a while on Haderus tonight, and we never had more than 20 people.
Not in your group obviously that simply just isn't possible, but we all know groups have a habit of showing up at the same place. I don't get why I'm still talking about this lol my eyes aren't playing tricks on me this time so I think I am done reassuring everyone that it did in fact happen, because this kind of stuff happens all the time. Just the fact that it was just me in the keep full of over 50 ad I thought was a tad idiotic. But so was the part of me dying on top floor of inner from emp group who rushed to top to take out that 1 deadly oil, while misfitz stacked on flags & spammed heals for no reason at all.
Please name the 50 while your at it as you obviously know them all by name seeing as "thats 100% what I saw"
I think you need a break from the battlefield soldier. At ease.
I'm not sure what the problem is here. Last night around midnight (after the red blob had lagcapped the keeps in Haderus) I came into Azura with about 5 other people and we started taking keeps and having lots of fun fights against the yellow denizens of that place. There was no lag. And even though sometimes 30 yellow were fighting a merry band of 6, we held our own for awhile and got good kills. I might have found my new hunting grounds since Haderus has spent the last couple nights as zerglag city.

This guy... haha
If youre a red in Azuras youre gonna get much more AP than yellows simply because youre at the gate. You get more ticks and more AP fighting at the gates. Didnt you learn that as an AD in thornblade??
If youre saying youre getting more AP away from the gate, i don't buy it.
TKO becomes a zerg guild 3 times a week. Any other day its not even a full raid. I believe that one of the reasons TKO is big is because AD was severely outnumbered back in thorn and AD needed a unified force. I remember tko recuiters advertising in zone chat but that was because it was desperate times for AD. Since thornblade is dead, tko took a break and tried other servers (with it's new force) and all this QQ started.
There are other guilds in other alliances who do exactly the same thing (im looking at you blues). Im not even goona started with EP, we all know how bad their zergs get.
Just logged in thornblade today to find it painted red and AD starting from the gate all over again. How long has EP been doing this? And yet we got reds and blues here QQing over AD in azuras...
Call to arms: EP and DC retake of AS.
nukeemstudiosub17_ESO wrote: »Call to arms: EP and DC retake of AS.
The only wSay any EP will get help from DC is if you purposely leave EVERY campaign that these lagg causing zerg balling guilds are in. These guilds are giving EP a bad name. There are a lot of good players on EP and many deserve respect. But all these zerg, lag ball groups make everyone look down on EP. This is not skill. This exploiting broken game mechanics to achieve their goals. Yes its Zos' fault for the state of the game. But have some integrity. Don't do it on purpose just to flip emp. When you have trouble taking keeps don't resort to lag balling. Devise better tactics. Not better exploits.
Oh my lord, I swapped so many servers last night, trying to find action. God knows it coulda been on Had.
