WHEN THE INFO BLURB STATES TAKE YOUR CHARACTERS, ALL INVENTORIES IN BACKPACK & BANK VAULT TO CONSOLE
Then after the fact...
- The Crowns we paid for won't transfer
- The current state of your toons won't transfer - Traits in progress
- What other bomb do they have left to drop on us.....

Both of the things you listed were announced right when the copy went up for sale, not after the fact.

I did get an official response that we would be notified before transfer with enough time to remove our guild store listings and return them to inventory before copy is done. From that statement all progress completed by then will transfer

Trouble is that's so open to abuse. What' stopping someone borrowing a ton of money and other items out of their guild bank just so that it gets transferred?

Just to clarify folks - You are wanting a refund on something you are researching on your PC Account as it won't transfer to the Console account - even though you will still have the PC Trait completing research?
IF the stop the research on BOTH accounts, fine, get a refund. But if you are still getting the research completed on PC - not sure you should have a refund
Just received the official email
Greetings XXXXX,
Thank you for purchasing The Elder Scrolls® Online: Tamriel Unlimited™ for Console with account copy.
Your account will be copied from PC/Mac to console on June 1, 2015, at 10AM EDT. Shortly after your account is copied from PC/Mac to the console of your choice, you will receive your digital game code for The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited.
In preparation for this transfer, please take note of the following:
This is an account copy. Once the copy is complete, your PC characters as well as your console characters will not share any items or progression. They will exist independently of one another.
All entitlements will carry over, including Imperial Edition and Explorer's Pack benefits.
ESO Plus membership status will not carry over. You will need to re-enroll in ESO Plus on your console.
Crowns will not transfer from PC/Mac to console. Any crowns left in your Crown Balance will remain on your PC character. Any items purchased with crowns will transfer to the console version.
Besides crowns, the following will also not transfer: Mail, Guilds, Guild Banks, Friends List, Ignore List, Leaderboards, and Campaign Status.
Upon completion of the account copy, The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited Customer Support team will be unable to restore any characters or items that may have been deleted from the PC/Mac account prior to the transfer.
If you have any questions about The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited for Console with account copy, please visit help.elderscrollsonline.com.

No mention of crafting trait progression being lost or reset. Still need clarification!

I do not agree... Fully understand that research in progress will not transfer. Still need to know it the piece used in that research will
- reset to zero and comence on the console
- be returned to inventory to start research again
- be lost as well.
This question is assumed answered by you as the last option, but no official documentation answers this question to date. If there is please post a link because I have not seen it.

I am not trying to be difficult but where did you find it listed that when you research an item it that item gets listed in the Delete File that won't be transferred?
Am I wrong or is that what you're basing as fact?
The problem I have is with the term 'Reset'
To me that means the research timer is reset to zero.
If it is the way you state then a less ambiguous term should have been used. Like Trait Research in progress will be lost. Then there would not be a debate
Still not pleased with the way this was released.... not clear and definitely not enough warning when research can take up to 60 days.
This is my main gripe with this due to the fact I have purchased trait pieces for the research that will be lost. Since it is the last trait for each item, and in my case Nirnhoned, I am out over 100,000 gold.
And how easy do you think it will be to find those same pieces on console after transfer or be able to afford them if I did?
If the transfer happened 8 days later all the research would be completed OR if the info about this was posted 9 days sooner......

Being able to craft 7 piece gear sets while new console players haven't even begun to research would be a too big an advantage. That would make zero sense.

That is already confirmed to exist. The items in question are pending research that may not have completed. All completed research will copy over

I didn't know that. It that's so, it will be as if new console players will be starting 500 meters behind the starting line for a 1,000 meter race.

Everyone hAd a chance to play on PC and then move over. No one is at any disadvantage
It's a choice

What kind of logic is that? PC and console are two completely different platforms. Like two different countries.

Hey...No one can address your interpretations but I think the thread and staff have addressed all your concerns. This was public prior to the console BETA dating back to April 10, 2015
Hey there everyone,
We understand that the current question whether is your research will be completely cancelled or timer set back to 0. We'll have more information sometime tomorrow. Thanks for your patience!
