Usually I am laughing about people that are flaming with rude words and emoting on dead bodys. My MMO-experiences told me this kind of players are just young children that cannot handle their death/win.

Well.... Here we have a player flaming/emoting and filming this stuff to brag about it.. I have no words for this...

I stopped wearing it in game a long, long time ago. I just go with my PVP title as that actually shows some level of dedication and time spent (but not much, just more than Former Emperor). They should add a date to when you got your title, so that way people could recognize actual achievements, like my second day clear of regular DSA, or of my first month clear of vDSA.

As it stands, Former Emperor is a title that many people capable of achieving the other titles are unable to get, simply because it requires a bit more dedication - similar to the alliance rank titles.

It really doesn't require much than taking a day off of work on a campaign reset and being the first person to 100K on a campaign that is sure to flip the keeps to your side. There are plenty of tricks to doing that for those who really want the title.

I think the Master Angler or whatever fishing title is the hardest one. Well that and Grand Overlord of course.

I'm just talking about the "Former Emperor" in general title...if you were a real Emperor in one of the original campaigns that is actually something of note. Someone putting "Former Emperor" in their signature may as well just say "Logged into Cyrodiil". People wearing the former emperor title in game in my experience have never been good players. I won't name a list of players that have given me this impression but I have yet to fight a player sporting the title that I can recall who afterword I thought was a formidable player. I typically target the people I see with that in the hopes of actually finding someone worthy of it.

Hell I just destroyed a "Former Emp" last night like he was a trash mob on my Nightblade on BWB when out of all of the campaigns you'd think that one would actually mean something.

It was removed for speculating on why they were banned. We aren't suggesting that you were being critical towards moderation, but discussing disciplinary actions itself isn't allowed. We keep disciplinary actions private, and since we aren't able to discuss them its problematic if we allow others - we can't confirm or deny anything. Such discussions also tend to be off topic.

If anyone has other questions regarding this, you're welcome to PM us, but we shouldn't continue this discussion here.

Sarenvog is out of line but I'm not sure op is any better tbh. Poor sportsmanship on both sides, and posting the video to humiliate him is low although I am sure it was satisfying. As Jay-Z said, don't argue with fools, from a distance you can't tell who is who.

They do ban players for being [snip]. I've seen it happen. Thing is, most PvP'ers wont report trash talk, even if extremely offensive including sexual orientation and someone's mother. It's like running straight to the teacher crying cuz someone's being mean to you. Who wants to be that kid?

Many wants to be raged at, they dont get offended, they get amused. Take screen shots and laugh like mad, feeding egos. Don't think I know a single hardcore PvP'er that actually reports hate/rage whispers. If we weren't such good sports about emotional outbursts from our enemies, you see way more bans for sure.
