Legermain too easy

As far as I know, re-logging doesn't respawn safe boxes, only "normal" stealable items. Those don't worth much, do they?

As for the difficulty, stealing is much more the art of patience and opportunity then should be hard. Nevertheless there are some safe boxes harder than others, try steal safe boxes from banks or open markets for example. If you are already a Master Thief you can break the lock, but at this level you shouldn't be expecting stealing to be hard, you are already a Master!

What would be your suggestion or advice to make Legerdemain more fun and challenging?

Ya, safe boxes they are ok. There difficulty is just right.
It's a tough situation, I'd say make stuff in objects more rare. Like those green items, I can find them each time I goto a bank usually plus more.

While pickpocketing, I don't see how people "claim" they get really nice or greens most of the time, because my experience at 2/3 pickpocketing trait, I'm still getting these junky 30 gold items and theres a chance that I could be slapped with a bounty too.

There really is very very very little risk vs reward in just raiding a bank than there is compared to pickpocketing.
Also, theres stuff you cant even get through pickpocketing.

It should be THE OTHER WAY AROUND... Should be items you cant get from raiding a bank, but you CAN ONLY get via pickpocketing.

Speaking of which, stuff like breezve juice, and frost miram... I was notified that you can only get those via hireling and writs...
    Perhaps put those on NPCs.

They really should calm down on the amount of green items you can raid in a bank too.

Because if I only have 15 mins, and I decide I want to make money via legermain... I'm going to be raiding banks over pickpocketing people, because the reward is currently better and faster raiding banks.

Maybe make bank raiding harder too.
    Like more guards
OR items green or better are free for all, as in not instanced just for you. Whoever gets to that trunk first wins. Zone resets green items or better every 15 mins.

Those are just some thoughts I have.
But I think real issue is pickpocketing just not as good as stealing from trunks backpacks, wardrobes, etc.

As far as the skill line is concerned, it costs skill points and a good amount of time to max it out.

Maxing it out doesn't take long, really. You can get 2 to 3 levels in 30 min of work per day.

    By re-logging I take it

I sent you a PM explaining. Last thing I need is for the nerf stick to come out.

Foräois - Imperial Sorcerer of Ineptitude.
Widoch - Nord Dragon Knight of Ignorance.
Billy Bob - Dunmer Templar of Chicken and Noodles.

Logging in and out to farm objects has always been going on. It's how people used to get purple motifs to sell. Only now, ZOS made that illegal in game :P

I've actually gotten to level 6 legerdemain simply by opening treasure chests. I don't do anything even remotely criminal, and yet I'm accumulating XP for criminal activities.
I am not spending a single penny on the game until changes are made to the game that I want to see.
    1) Remove having to be in a guild to sell items to other players at a kiosk.
    2) Cosmetic modding for armor and clothing.
    3) Difficulty slider.
    4) Fully customizable player housing that isn't tied to anything in the game other than having the correct resources and enough gold to build. Don't tie it to PvP, guild membership, or anything at all. Oh, make it instanced so as not to take up world map space, too. Zeni screwed this one up already.
Any /one/ of these things implemented would get me spending again, maybe even subbing.

idk about you, but that "junk" i get from pickpocketing nets me 10K-12K gold a run........

if you want to make gold, then play the system as designed. do not do that log and re-log nonsense. explore the town, search every house, every container, and pickpocket whoever you can.

once you get good at it, 90minutes will net you 10-12K on average

fun fact: once i found a tooth worth about 800gold in a desk:D

Pickpocketing is just too risky right now, and most of times it gives you junk.

Have you put any points into improving this? With points in it, I have 90% chance to pickpocket all hard NPC, including the guards. And the loot is mostly greens with some blues and whites. I'm well on my way to 1000 pockets picked achievement, albeit without much risk. Not what you said, but does agree with your general theme that the skill is too easy.

Pickpocketing is just a hassle, all you really get from it is skill-ups in legermain and achievement for pickpocketing people.
But if you don't even need to pickpocket people to get good stuff, why even bother with anything legermain related skills.

I mean picklocking chests are easy enough too. It's not like those advance difficulty chests are super hard to pick.

Why even bother with legermain skilline, when you can steal everything and better from static zone objects by logging out and logging in?

Why bother playing ESO at all? There are lots of other games. Why not watch some quality TV, go to a movie, see a ball game, go to a concert, or a plethora of other things to do. Instead, it's QQ about how the game works. Were you expecting everything to be exactly what you wanted? If you don't like the sand box, get out.

Expressing dissatisfaction and explain what you think is bad in the game is part of the feedback that the developers uses to improve the game. Obviously you don't understand that.

I understand the concept just fine. I just happen to disagree that the Justice system is the hot mess the OP seems to believe. I want the devs to know his voice is not the only one. In any case, the majority of post in this forum have about as much affect on the devs as a fart in a hurricane.

I'd like to see trespassing expanded.
Its kinda silly being chastised while you prowl around a house peeking in containers etc.

Some system in which a homeowner's patience with you is measured in a timer before calling the guards would go a long way towards increasing the risk aspect of thieving.

Picture this, you break into a house and you aren't seen, proceed as normal.

you break into a house and the homeowner sees you it starts a 1-2 min timer

when that timer expires, guards all up in your shiz and no escape, now that sounds hard.

And murder. Why is it that I can murder someone out in the middle of nowhere, out of sight of ANYONE, yet I still get a bounty? My vampire likes to murder people, yet the 'psychic' bounties put him off! Not seen should be exactly that. Not seen. No bounty.

So you can instantly whisper your buddy who is on the other side of Tamriel and that is fine, but when an NPC whispers to the guards that he is being attacked by you it is a problem? LOL.

Ledgermain seems fine to me as is though pickpocketing could use maybe a small bump in cold cash along with an item.

For people being detected too easy; well you need to dress for the occasion.
