Turn off XP gain

Yes..a WoW feature (and maybe other mmo's??) that allowed players to play and stay in a particular tier of PvP without levelling past the level range for a particular BG

Do you think there's a place for such a feature in ESO?

Nah. This would allow lvl 49s to just stick around in the lowbie campiagn indefinitely.

Yes. That would be the whole point.

Play in non vet without progressing your way out of it.

Keeping AP gain, just the choice to not level a character.

The point is pointless. Why would you want to pvp with lvl 10s as lvl 49? Unless you want to farm ofc.

Well you brought up a reasonable option; level tiers.

This is a great way to completely ruin Non-vet PvP!

The only option I would consider is restricting those players who have disabled XP to a separate campaign.

I am more for the tiered idea of VR1 - VR5, VR6-VR10 and of course normal vet any level 10 up can join if they wish.

If you're so in love with the non-vet campaign, and not with your dominance of it at 49, delete your character and level another one. No need to clog the non-vet with a bunch of twinks who are too lazy to reach VR14.

No, but an AP/XP toggle to slow progression might be OK. You wouldn't be able to hide as a level 40+ in BWB forever but you could extend your stay.

I would support this, but CPs would have to be disabled in the non-vet campaign if this was implemented.

and if separate instances for VR1-VR5 players and the like, were ever made, this option would have to go.

No thanks. We don't need twinks in non-vet PVP. That's the whole appeal of it - the lack of twinking.

Considering crafted sets and CP id say certain amount of twinking occurs pvp or pve for those who bother.

Some disparity is inevitable between those new to the game and those vets with resources to pimp their alts.

Would you freeze mages guild progress too? Or do you want to ruin the non-vet campaign with Meteor also?

At any rate, I think you should suck it up and play with the vets. Sorry you can't continue to wreak havoc at level 49 forever. Just level a new alt if the campaign is that important to you.

Agree, but aren't people already twinking with CPs, crafted/purchased sets, purple food/drink?

Take CPs out of nonvet, at the very least.

Disabling the grass may improve performance.

Yes I would freeze mage guild progress and yes I want to ruin non-vet pvp *shakes head in a wtfway*

I've a v14 and several alts under level twenty and I can't see anywhere in this thread where I say I don't participate in the vet camps.

Not sure what your smoking bud but share it around.

Anyways, a simple poll based on the fact quite a few seem to enjoy the non vet campaign and I wondered if anyone would like to stay there, ya know at a particular level, not begin again at lvl1 every time they hit 50 or 20 or...

If you allow people to turn off exp gain, then you effectively ruin non vet campaigns. You'll just have a bunch of lvl 49 min/maxers with decked out gear in non vet campaigns farming all the newbies, population will increase in non vet campaigns, lag will increase, new players won't be able to enjoy pvp.

There would have to be level tiers and more than cryodil for pvp.

Again just a what if scenario. not a formal request for such a thing.

Personally I doubt there would be the population for an area like cryodil if you grouped people up in lvl chunks.

If they ever create smaller scale pvp scenarios I think it would be a more of a realistic option to have.

I think leveling out of non-vet is an important safety valve that keeps dominant players/groups from having control of the campaign at all times. The natural rotation of Blackwater alliance rosters keeps things constantly changing. This state of flux is unique to Blackwater, and, at least for me, is a reason to keep going back. Allowing players to sit permanently at 49 and rule the map would eliminate everything that actually makes Blackwater exciting.

That being said, I do think the balance BWB character rotation had before the subscription exp buff and pvp exp increase was fine. You were able to stay in non-vet a little while longer, but not to a point that it was detriment to the dynamic nature of the campaign. So I would support being able to toggle the subscription exp bonus.

Edit: You can stay in Blackwater for as long as you wish, just don't get attached to the character in your 8th character slot.
