Same here, today I deleted ESO completely and just finished reinstalling it. Running it with no addons at all, gonna see if it crashes (it crashed even with all addons turned off yesterday, but perhaps something was corrupt with the game files).
By the way, I'm not so sure that game freezes and game crashes are related. I don't think I've ever had a game freeze, as in one that you have to use Task Manager to get out of.
What I get are crashes to desktop with the option to send a bug report to ZOS. So these two problems probably have very different origins.
The infinite loading screens may also be a completely unrelated third problem...
I am having this problem as well, seemsmlike every other time I try to leave a dungeon I hit infinite load

THIS IS THE ONLY GAME I CRASH ON!!!
Why can they not put this to the top of their to-do list?!
I didn't play this game for a few days, as I am abjectly fed up with long loading and 3-6 crashes per day! On my return, 2 crashes in 2 hours...
This will drive me away in perpituity it this continue's....
I run addons, the only crashes I have is when for some reason my router decides rebooting is a good idea, or suddenly drops the traffic speed to a 1mb/s. other than that. no issues... some quests are bugged, Cyr lags, but no crahses or endless loading... are you sure you get enough internet speed?
Its very annoying when you're running it on ssd and usually fast but then it hangs...probably would be less annoying if I wasn't comparing it to see speeds that usually workHeroOfNone wrote: »I am having this problem as well, seemsmlike every other time I try to leave a dungeon I hit infinite load
This is something we identified as a bug when folks load multiple different areas in a group . If you all teleport together and wait your less likely to bug out, but if your party member exits, then you exit, and the teleport somewhere, lead times increase drasticly. From what I can tell, the extended time seems to be as long as it takes a dungeon to reset.
I was running ESO in Windows 10(beta version that uses the same drivers/backend as Windows 8.1) for almost 6 months without issues - until around 1.6 launched. Windows also did an large update at around this time. I started experiencing the same issues the OP and others have mentioned in this thread. I tried all of the mentioned fixes, and did not get any improvement. I figured since I was using a beta version OS, I might be out of luck with support. I also noticed it having other issues, like sound not working after going into stand-by.
I fixed my issue completely (with the exception of the much less frequent long/infinite/random load screens) by doing the following.
There was firmware update for my Samsung SSD, which would fix and prevent the deterioration of read speeds. I ran that before re-installing a better supported OS, Windows 7 64bit. I downloaded the latest drivers from each manufacturer of my computers hardware and installed all of it fresh. I then patiently re-installed and patched ESO.
I've seen others with Windows 7 already, having the same issues. Which leads me to believe an OS reinstall is not the solution, but something that I did in process however, gave me great improvements. Video, Sound and other drivers, C++ Libraries, DirectX, and ESO game files were all reinstalled with the latest versions.
I understand the frustration those with this issue are having. Heck, I purchased an entirely new OS and did a complete reinstall. Just for ESO.
