What is your Top Ten (Twelve) Change or Feature Addition?

Ser Lobo
Ser Lobo
✭✭✭✭✭
As the title states, I'd love to see everyone's top ten most wanted change or feature addition. This could be everything from new weapon types, new guilds, or even different types of content like small-scale PvP or large PvE content. And don't forget your biggest annoyances or small changes you'd like to see.

And to go ahead and take two off of every player's list:

1) Fix Lag in Cyrodiil, Cities, Dolmens and Everywhere Elsewhere (could be graphical lag, latency, or simply the bubbles of space/time paradox that certain players are stuck in)
2) Fix bugged skills (such as nightblade cloak, but we all know every class has bugged abilities that need fixed)

So, now for the rest of your list! Just copy and paste and fill in your opinions!

3)

Ruze Aulus. Mayor of Dhalmora. Archer, hunter, assassin. Nightblade.
Gral. Mountain Terror. Barbarian, marauder, murderer. Nightblade.
Na'Djin. Knight-Blade. Knight, vanguard, defender. Nightblade.

XBOX NA
Ruze is a veteran of the PC Beta, lived through the year one drought, survived the buy-to-play conversion, and has stepped foot in the hells known as Craglorn. He mained a nightlbade when nightblades weren't good, and has never worn a robe. He converted from PC during the console betas, and hasn't regretted it a moment since.

He'd rank ESO:TU (in it's current state) a 4.8 out of 5, loving the game almost entirely.

This is an multiplayer game. I should be able to log in, join a dungeon, join a battleground, queue for a dolmen or world boss or delve, teleport in, play for 20 minutes, and not worry about getting kicked, failing to join, having perfect voice coms, or being unable to complete content because someone's lagging behind. Group Finder and matchmaking is broken. Take a note from Destiny and build a system that allows from drop-in/drop-out functionality and quick play.

    5) Randomized Quests for NPC Guilds (kill the monster, rescue the citizen, retrieve the magic artifact, steal the diamond, etc)

    7) More Weapon Lines (Polearm, Crossbow, One Handed, Unarmed, etc)
    8) More Clothing Options (regular clothes, nobles/commoners of each zone, etc)
    9) Barbershop and More Customization Options (change appearance, add tattoos, new hair, new beards, etc)
    10) Small(er) Scale PvP (look for skirmishes; 12v12 battles that affect Cyrodiil but are instanced)
    11) Large(r) Scale Cave Diving (systematically generated cave networks that are more for exploration, with a side of danger and treasure)
    12) Companions (more like Elder Scrolls than SWTOR, hired NPC help to give your game a little flavor)

There will undoubtedly be a lot of overlap in responses. Still, great thread idea. Overall I am very happy with the game and tend to be a "cosmetics" type of guy.

    1) Dyes in the Crown Store.

    2) Optional visible name tags. I truly enjoy seeing what people have named their avatar. It's a game unto itself. Some are very witty, while others may pay homage to history which I find fascinating.

    3) More storage both for characters and account wide. This is the single most frustrating overall issue for me. More QoL fixes like they did with pets, applied to say costumes gotten from quests would also be great.

    4) Ability to change appearance. I don't care one way or another if they allow race, gender, faction changes, etc. If people are willing to pay for it good on them. I would like to alter my own avatar's looks on occasion though.

    5) Ability to permanently save an armor set as a costume. Again, something I would pay for. Make it a one time scroll, charge 500 crowns for it, bound to account. Maybe for double that you can trade it to other players.

    6) Cross factional LFG tools for dungeons. My second biggest problem with the game is the ofttimes inability to create/find a group for an instanced dungeon. I believe one partial remedy to this would be to remove the social wall between factions in these specific cases.

    7) Better subscriber perks. A whole 'nother thread, but the gist of my argument is that more subscribers = more revenue = more content at a faster pace. The current sub. benefits are too lackluster imo.

    8) Instanced PvP battlegrounds for Guild v. Guild fights. I envision a neutral area where RP could occur between the groups, and then a single elimination death match type fight. Would highlight the use of tactics and add a serious RP element of 'rival clans'.

    9) 'Steampunk'-like inspired gear and weapons. Undoubtedly controversial, perhaps not desired by many, I just like Steampunk fashion. Perhaps there could be a filter for those who did not wish to view it. Anyhow, doubt this will ever occur.

    10) World events. A zombie plague for instance. Maybe it would require the factions to temporarily unite to actually defeat the source and return the world to normal.

I have many more ideas, but this is already TLDR for most I imagine.

i will not begrudge you your opinion, however allow me to share my contrasting opinion on some of your choices

    1. There are some things that should remain obtainible, purely, by playing the game. the achievment=dye system is a great way to get people to get our there and get them achievments

    9. the closest to steampunk the TES universe should ever get is the dwemer, and the fact they are extinct is a good thing. i would prefer TES remain fantasy genra for as long as it can. thats not to say in TES7 or 8 i wouldnt mind seeing some technological advancment, but in ESO, which takes place in the 2nd era, i dont think steampunk fits whatsoever

    10. i love the idea for world events, however if i may, id rather it not change the world overly much, i dont want GW2s living story here, where they will decimate whole towns and cities for the sake of a story. Roleplayers need those towns. Maybe when they do a event like that, they release a pve instance of cyrodiil where everything is all messed up, keeps are being attacked by whatever the problem is at the time, and all the factions call a peace to deal with whatever is happening, allowing cross faction partying to deal with new dungeons and pve keep assualts

    New Zones
    Housing
    PvP Arena
    Rework 1HS or add a 1H Tree
More random encounters, boss fights, and general reasons to actually explore.
Expand upon Crafting.* Also add more motifs in general.
Expand and Improve upon Enchanting, specifically weapon enchants (they're almost meaningless...)
Separate Crafting and Item Storage, also add trophies to collections.**
Removal of Vet Ranks and addition of Character Slots.
More emotes (pretty much the only way to communicate in PvP, also the 'taunt' is rather bland).

*Add the option to let us pick the leveled appearance of the weapon. Then add the currently unimplemented Tier5 weapons and armor as an option for master crafters to choose. A lot of these are actually already in the game, you just can't craft them. Able to show proof of these being in game if requested.

**With 140 bank spaces the vast majority of my bank space is still used to store crafting and trait materials, along with various usable trophies. This leaves only around ten slots for actual gear. At the very least there's no reason trophies should take up so much space.

    4) Barber shop

    6) Fix of the bounty bug of getting a bounty when no one witnesses your crime
    7) More customisation in armor- texture packs, new dyes, etc
    8) Some more feminine/masculine armors, and no, not bikini's and spikes everywhere, just the addition of more ornate or rugged looking armors to please us picky cosmetic types
    9) More costumes, although I know these are coming soon, I still feel that a lot of ideas put forward by the community for costumes are yet to be explored fully
    10) Houses, purchasable by both gold and crowns for hopefully not too stupendous of an amount
    11) More Mounts
    12) New adornments hairstyles head & body markings
