Took almost an hour of screaming for people to converge on the gate and only had a few siege up when we easily could've had twice that many and wiped the DC zerg. Just no cohesion whatsoever. Unless we're steam rolling it's like we don't want to fight, even defensively. This crop on the camp is certainly poorer than last cycle. Well grats once again DC and keep up the fight until EP's night crew returns to bring the pain.
Nice to see AD finally lost its little bonus after poplocking the server. I honestly thought they'd catch up from that alone. Funny how ZOS seems to think its fair to give the losing side more points for holding less keeps than can be obtained from holding the entire map including scrolls.0 -

Consistently I saw 3 DC guys who were exploiting. Watched all three of them run up to the postern door at Bleaker's and use their chain pull to pull themselves through the door. Never brought the wall or door down. That is how they took Chalman while everyone else was fighting on the walls. Same three guys each time. ZOS will lose players over stuff like this.2 -

Right now, kings is still EP, but even though DC has all the scrolls, taking Farra with overpowering numbers and ganking players coming out of southern morrowind spawn (not the gate, the spawn) seems to be of most importance.
Have fun playing with yourselves I guess...

The gate camping is dumb but there's always going to be members of either side that do it. Whenever EP controlled the map how often did we scream in chat to just let them out the gate and that camping was in poor taste. Of course the *** justification is "oh, well we're after their sky shard lol" Shull. Bucking. Fit. If you want the shard sneak yourself in there then gtfo, or get it when we push for scrolls. But crowding yourself there just for gits and shiggles is poor taste no matter how you put it, and DC is guilty of that just the same.
Today just felt like 2/3 of EP ragequit. I have no guild so I rely on wherever the flow goes, but it was rather stagnant. I kept thinking more people would log on as prime time neared but that didn't happen, not for EP and certainly not for AD (who got their special star bonus back...) The numbers just didn't materialize and even though there were some groups running there just wasn't enough cohesion to take anything or even hold what we gained. Maybe it's a pattern that midweek EP is kind of droopy then the weekend warriors log on. I remember the same thing happened with old Volendrung.
As for DC, I could name names and point pointies, but I'm forbidden to do so because ZOS protects the guilty moreso than the innocent. Bleakers last night was like watching a clown car of every NB and DK of a particular guild skeeving their way into the outpost without the walls having been broken. I feel like they resorted to this because they were facing even force on the open field. It's a known issue, and still you have people capitalizing on it to gain an unfair advantage. Total cheeseballing.
I like large fights where either side is more or less evenly matched, and things come down to positioning and resources. But it seems some people aren't content unless its a surefire win. If they aren't garuanteed first place they either don't put in the effort or skeeve their way into victory. It's not something that can't be overcome given time and effort. Dositheus✭✭✭Dude EP knows... the Dolemans are calling. EP likes to PVE. :P It's why half our number our out doing the questing hubs and dolemans instead of defending keeps or whatnot. It's fine though, it's giving less ap to the dc crew. And the keeps will just get taken when DC goes to sleep.

What's your chars name? I haven't had many 1v1s in azuras, most people run away and come back with their group or they stealth attack me on my horse then vanish when they dont kill me...I've done fine against you 1v1 Eskimo, and had fun with a number of others solo.

It was a fight you intiated, I was trying to stealth toward the skyshard behind your gate, and you came out of no where and ran over me with your horse and it popped me out of stealth. You then dismounted and started crystal fragging at me, and I started rolling and praying like a madman. Hah, it was a good fight that went on about 3 or 4 minutes with you bolting/fragging/cursing at me, and me self healing, rolling, and going in for lucky ambushes and surprise strikes. I think I may have been going sword/board and 2h at that point? It ended with me getting you with a lucky fear and then a couple hard surprise attacks. Either way, it was a fun fight and we chatted for a bit after in tells. Was actually really fun getting a 1 v 1 with you.
Lothar and I were chatting about that, we had like 50 guild members on, but only about 10 were in cyro (less in Azura, we could only get about 4 of our guildies in the group in Azura) and then 2 pugs with us. We had like 6 to 8 people, and would grab a farm then get mowed over by the prett/gang blue ball. I think Lothar continued to try to do something, but EP has pretty much given up on Azura it feels. We rushed it, had it at the begining, and then the EP were like "OK, we took Azura, time to go back to Thornblade and pve with our buff server." We've popped into Thornblade and been like "Umm, who wants to go pvp?" and they responded they had their buff server in Thorn and were happy with it. Our guild left Thorn because we were bored with it when it became a buff server for EP, but now we cant' find enough EP (regardless of whether there are 2 bars or not) to make a full group in Azura. They're either doing dolemans, or farming the cave behind our gate, or doing quest hubs as far as I can tell. You have a small handful willing to pvp, the rest are god knows where doing god knows what. I'm all for pvping, but I'm not going to straggle into a battle against a coordinated emp group with 6 to 8 folks below alliance rank 15. It doesn't accomplish anything other than give Prett some more AP, and as entertaining as he is I don't think he needs more. :P
It looks like Thorn will be the EP buff server, Azura the DC one, and not sure what one AD will have.0 -

TBH It's not pvdoor if there's someone putting up a resistance, and we did almost wipe at Alessia and Roebeck thanks to interference from a pesky AD ganker and a couple DC defenders. Honestly it was barely 12 of us at any given time with one or two cycling out to go to bed. I think I myself crashed after Lothar got emp because as much as I like AP I needs my sleep. Plus work tonight and all. It wouldn't be a competitive camp if there wasn't competition. Now EP has a base to work with in the daytime. And we better work for it. EP's supposed to be the aggressive faction. leave the limp=spineyness to the elves.0 -
Kelleton✭✭✭had a couple of funfights last night in delves - was a few dc in a delve, nabbed one but the other group I tried to snag while they were fighting the orcs. couldn't pull it off solo but it was fun for a good 10-15 min.

Rojnaar✭✭✭I don't know where the EP are at either. It's been this way for a while, with EP showing a decent population according to the bar, but dismal showing's at keep's. If I can find out where those folks are hiding out, either pve'ing or rp'ing, I'm going to have to level an alt to bring in and try to disrupt it.

The issue Is when people are taking undefended keeps at 5 am. its one thing if theres enough people actually defending, but if you're pveing guards then wtf are you doing in cyro? I would think at that point you'd go to a different campaign or leave to do other stuff.I don't know where

I log on sometimes, before I go to work in the mornings, mostly just to clear my mail and such. I see something going on, I get in on it if I can, but if I can't... I lament the ap I'm missing out on, not think someone is only doing it because they don't want to fight me. It's not like we get anything worthwhile from campaign scores anyway.1
