More kiosks for guilds to hire
I would not only like to see some more kiosks (and I'm sure some will come with new zones whenever they finally release them) but would like to see many of them moved around a bit in the major cities to make the marketplace as appealing as Rawl'ka's.

Yes. Cities like Riften, Shornhelm, Evemore even Elden Root, could use a serious kiosk relocation and there is plenty of room in better spaces! No kiosk should be outside of the city gates, or in a back corner of a city :( Cities like Davon's Watch just need more of them.

More kiosks for guilds to hire
I've noticed that there appear to be several carts for vendors on the starter islands, but only one merchant amongst 5 or so carts. It seems to me that it wouldn't be terribly difficult to put vendors in those locations.

There are plenty of guilds that would jump at the chance to have a vendor, and there are plenty of players that take the time to check in with all the vendors. I would love to see some more niche stores pop up in Tamriel, hopefully at prices smaller guilds can justify spending on.

That said, this was a really difficult poll to vote on, as ALL of the options should really be a priority. I run a small guild and am an officer in a very large guild, and my duties to both leave me very little playing time with the minimal tools available.

I agree on the kiosk moving. Would we have any influence over that at all? A more balanced approach to portal distance and bank/refuge would be awesome.

Looks like More Kiosks and Guild calendar of all things. Personally I would like to see more cities like Rawl'Kha where the bank, wayshrine and all 5 stores are right on top of each other with everything else you could ever want a few steps further.

    Guild Calendar
    Direnni Guildleaders Suggestions
This is a master list of suggestions and feedback put together by a group of Guildmasters brainstorming over how to improve the guild and bid systems. We represent many of the top trade guilds, and do accept applications from any guild leader interested in joining our discussions.

    Bidding System Problems
We appreciate that the developers listened to our previous pleas and made the pending bid amounts viewable to only those able to bid. But the system is still far from ideal.
Bidding system puts a huge strain on players, especially guild leadership and serious traders. Trade guilds depend on their kiosk to attract and retain membership. Without a kiosk they lose the sales they need to add to the guild bank. Trying to guess how much gold is needed to secure the kiosk is daunting, and when a bid is lost members get upset. Every week trade guilds fold from failure to maintain a good kiosk, and the leadership often leaves the game rather than rebuilding.
Bidding currently closes right before a LONG maintenance making it nearly impossible to get backup stalls.
With the new influx of players, returning players and revived guilds with BTP, the competition for kiosks has gotten much fiercer. Kiosks that once went for 400K are now going for 2-3 mil gold. Small guilds trying to get a start are finding that even in the lower demand cities they will lose bids at 40K which is a lot for a new trade guild to come up with.

    Bid Times
Move bid closing time to Sunday evenings 8 pm or 10 pm est, and avoid having it right before maintenance. Waiting 8 hours to see if you can get a backup stall is.. horrible.

    Cancel Bids
Allow admins to cancel a bid entered by mistake. Accidental bids often lock guilds into undesired locations. Guildmasters who accidentally bid against a friendly guild find themselves forced to have one or the other go without a kiosk. Officers accidentally bidding too high can bankrupt a guild.

    Potential New Bid Systems
    1. City bidding- Each guild bids on a city and the top 5 guilds are placed in that city. This would greatly reduce the direct guild on guild competition, with the drama it causes. Guilds could not target another guild just to be spiteful, and would not be able to hold the same resentment towards a guild that outbid them since the bids aren't targeted at one guild. Guilds that wish to pay less can take a risk and try to get a city for cheap. Guilds that pay more would get the spots closer to the wayshrine and would be assured of a spot.

    2. Different dates for bidding for each city. Have each zone's bidding close on a different weekday. Auridon, Glenumbra and Stonefalls would close monday, grahtwood, Stormmhaven and Deshaan would close Tuesday. If a guild fails to get a kiosk in the preferred city, they could then bid the next day on a kiosk in another city without waiting an entire week of no kiosk. The guild could then bid 6 days later on their preferred city abandoning the second choice kiosk a day early. The now empty kiosk would be available for hire for 100g for the remaining time til next bid. This system would offer a much better and more viable backup plan for guilds that lose their bid instead of losing an entire week's sales.

    3. Allow guilds to place a backup bid on a secondary kiosk if the first is lost. Con: The backup bid would be hard to select, having to either compete with another good guild, or chose a backup in a much less desirable location. Backup bids could bump out other primary bids, which could then bump out the other guild’s backup bid causing logic errors.

    Kiosk Location
More Kiosks. Refuges could easily hold 3 kiosks each encouraging buyers to go there. Add a few more kiosks to starter cities and islands like Vulkhel Guard and Bleakrock. Add kiosks to Cyrodil home camp areas.
Relocate city kiosks in certain cities to more central areas such as banks, wayshrines, and crafting stations. There is a huge disparity between a well located city like Rawlkha and Mournhold, and a poorly located hub like Shornhelm and Evemore.
Better branding of kiosks in claimed resources (tabards).

    Guild Halls
We want these. a LOT. give them to us please!

It would be even cooler to have player housing that would be located in instanced guild neighborhoods. Guilds could earn a neighborhood by gold. crowns, members. Once the guild gets a neighborhood, the members could purchase the homes. Each neighborhood could be an instanced zone in or next to an existing city.

    Guild Recruitment Tools
Create guild recruitment posting boards that allow guild leaders to purchase weekly advertising posts. Allow players to request guild invites from these posting boards.

Allow players to view guild info and request invites to guilds from hired kiosk locations.

Add a separate chat channel for guild recruitment.

Implement a Guild Finder or Guild Search function that allows players to contact guild leaders and or recruitment officers. This would allow players to request invites to specific guilds and for guild leaders to seek collaboration with others for events, trade, PvP, trials, etc.

    Leave Guild Hotkey
Guild members and even leaders have accidentally left their guilds because the “Leave Guild” and “Add Member” buttons are in the same location on different tabs. The “X” key is often mispressed instead of the “Alt” key and the confirmation prompt is easily confirmed by muscle memory.
Misclicking could be prevented if the “Leave Guild” button were moved to the guild roster tab and anchored to the lower left corner.
Require users to type “LEAVE” on the confirmation dialog box similar to character deletion.

    Mail
Guild Mail function. Currently guildmasters often get blocked as spammers for sending guild mails. Having a built in guild mail system would reduce strain on the server by reducing requests sent back and forth. Having guild mail as a permission that can be set allowing who can send guild mails. This would prevent a spammer from joining the guild and sending out mail. Mails should be able to be sent to only certain ranks or to the entire guild

Retrieve mail from the server when the mail window is opened or implement a retrieve mail button. Currently, players must log out of the game and log back in or travel to a different zone in order to request mail from the server.

Implement a “sent mail” outbox, forward and reply button. Sent mail can be very important for people mailing orders and could be used to resolve disputes.

Allow for more characters if linking items. A few item links can then presently force you to write a very short mail that may not be able to convey your ideas.

    Guild Roster History
Reintroduce a column on roster for the date that a member joined. This would allow leaders to recognize the dedicated/long term members.

Implement a function to show which members/officers recruited a new player to the guild. This would allow members/officers to be recognized and acknowledged for contributing to guild recruitment.

Add a textbox to filter by member name to review bank, sales, and roster history per individual member.

Add filters to roster history for joined, left, kicked, demoted, and promoted.

Add a banned list to the guilds that GMs can prevent members from being allowed back in.

    Ranks
Additional permission for “Edit Own Note”. Allow members to edit their own notes while preventing them from tampering with the notes of others. Also addition of a second “Officer notes” that can be used to document warnings, etc

Additional permissions for “Limited Remove Members”. A daily kick limit set by the guildmaster would act as a failsafe to prevent rogue officers/hacked accounts from deleting entire guild rosters.

    Ownership/Membership
Allow players to become the guildmaster of multiple guilds. This would allow for affiliated guilds to be controlled on one account and offer the ability for dedicated leaders to inherit ownership of guilds that would otherwise be abandoned.

Implement a feature to merge guilds in order to quickly and effectively transfer members from one guild to another. Each member would have an option to accept the merge upon logging in, preventing tedious mass mailings and tracking members down.

    Heraldry
Additional permission for “Edit Tabard Design” allowing other members/officers to design guild tabards.

Add the heraldry tab to guild interface for all members so that they can preview a guild tabard design before spending 2k gold.

Award guilds a gold percentage from tabard purchases as an incentive for members to purchase them in support of the guild.

Make tabards to be tradable so that they may be awarded as prizes or donated to another member.

Offer a small buff to players wearing their guild tabards together in a group to encourage guild pride.

    Store
Allow players to purchase or earn more slots via guild ranks. This would lower the number of players who join 3 or more trade guilds in order to acquire more than 30 slots.

Include the name of the item and guild an item was sold in with Item Sold mail.

Allow the guild itself to have 30 store slots in which officers can post items from the guild bank and have the entire sale go into the guild. This would allow guild leaders to sell off excess items in bank.

    Store Interface
Save current search filters upon exit from guild store. This would prevent players from the need to re-apply the same filters on each individual store when shopping around for specific items.

Add a textbox to filter by item name.

Add a right-click “Search for Similar” option that automatically applies that item’s filters making it easier to check for a good listing price.

    Bank
Add a tabbed or tiered system to the guild bank each with separate rank permissions including a daily withdrawal limit. Given the ability to assign only full or no access, guild banks are often closed to members due to risk of thievery.

Guild banks frequently timeout while attempting to retrieve item data requiring players to manually reload the bank window often 2-5 times before the inventory will display. As a short term solution, automatically refresh guild banks when retrieving items to prevent frequent timeouts.
Add an option to autostack categories in the guild bank.

Allow guilds to purchase more bank slots. With 500 members, 500 slots is very limited.

Stop bankers from wandering and breaking connection to bank.

    Guild Notes/Message
The Guild Notes section has short a character limit t be very useful, please expand.

Guild Message of the Day does not allow players to click or highlight making editing extra difficult. Please allow players to highlight and click into the field while editing. Allow guildmasters to chose if the message of the day gets broadcast or not, so we can test it, and save minor changes without spamming the guild.

    Offline Status
Add a status icon or color indicator to the chat window when in offline mode so that recruiters do not accidentally go recruiting while unable to receive whispers.

Notify players if they are set to offline on initial logon and when a tell is sent. This would prevent players from forgetting to set their status to online to receive replies.

Disable tells if you are set to offline.

    Alliance Chat channels across guilds
Create chat channels that can be made across guilds, public (anyone can join) or private (invite only). These would serve to unite communities better with a common purpose outside of having only guild chat. An example would be our GM community who doesn't want to give up a guild slot to only have the ability to talk to each other in game. I'm sure many other uses would be found. PVP channels, crafting channels, etc. for specialized discussion would benefit everyone in the game and provide a greater sense of overall community.

    Guild Events
Guild events or rankings such as PVP rankings, PVE contests and or sales recognition would really help boost guild pride and participation. Guild events could be scored based on AP earned, or players completing group dungeons and bosses, and trials. Scoring high in these guild events should reward some sort of small buff or prestige to the guilds.

Thank you! I had not thought to make that request.

I also want every single feature on the poll. I made a poll since it's an easier way to show how many players come to give some input but are too timid to post a reply. It also helps me to see which of the improvements other players feel are MOST important.

Right now I want that bid time changed. I am once again waiting for maintenance to finish so that I can try to get a stall. I have a dog who wants a walk, but if I leave the house at the wrong time I will miss my opportunity. I've been waiting for 2 whole hours, unable to play the game, but unable to leave my computer. I took my laptop to the kitchen just so I could make breakfast. This is crazy and it's draining on the players for no productive reason whatsoever. I can't imagine it would take more than a 5-10 minute hotffix to change that bid time and save guild officers hours of stress

    Recruitment Options
There needs to be a list, somewhere people can advertise their guilds ingame, and perspective players can look though and choose which guild works for them. Each guild chooses three catagories that their guild specilizes in, and they are shunted to a list under the appropriate tab

    Guild Mail tool
What I REALLY want are better Guild Magement tools like:

    A) Longer history for Banks, member events, stores, etc.
    B) Guild email (I know there are addons, but . . . )
    C) Better guild bank control via guild ranks (i.e. max # of withdraws within X hours/ days; ONLY withdraw Green items, etc.)
    D) Better guild store info ($ sold per member, # of active listings, # sold, etc.)
    E) Guild Specific Gifting (i.e. unique items in game that are guild specific. Like Tabards, but better (weapons, etc.). Willing to pay for this! I want to 'honor' members in more ways than $ or Ranks.)
    F) Housing!!!!!!!!!!! (Even a room is enough!)
    G) Guild pennants (I want to assign a member to carry our guild flag into battle, shows on horse too)

I love all of this. I transitioned to this game over from Eve Online, where I played for about 10 years, and all of these things were already in place. So not having the functions automatically felt alien to me.

I know the design for ESO is vastly different from Eve, and that it involves some legal issues as far as rights are concerned, but I invite ZoS developers to take a look at Eve's design on the mail and guild (corporation) systems. I'll provide some screenshots and the links to them, as a template only, to give you an idea of what we are looking for.

    Mail System

    EVE_mail.png

    https://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/EVE_mail#How_the_EVE_mail_system_works

As you can see, it functions exactly as any actual email would, including the ability to label, and manage the system. You can send Guild Wide mails, with one click, and filter who gets them. The ability to view Sent mail is also available, as well as specific mailing lists that can be created, and then players invited to.
For example, an Officer Mailing List, which only includes correspondence between guild leaders. The rest of the guild is excluded from that mailing list.
This is an invaluable tool for GM's and Guild officers, and needs to be implemented as soon as possible.

    Calander

    File:Calendar.jpg

    https://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Calendar

The calendar tool is just as important as the mail tool, since it provides guilds with the ability to schedule raid, pve delves, group instance, and pvp events.

This model also allows for the Group Leaders, or Event Schedulers to invite players to the event. The players then have the options to Accept, Decline, or Tentative themselves for the invite. Which GM's or Leaders could then see, and get an approximate idea of how many players are attending, and adjust the event accordingly with that information.

Currently not only must there be a mail to each member of a guild, but we also ask them to look to forums for scheduled events. However, most people either don't look at forums, or do and forget when the event is. Many also rely on guild leaders for information that has been explained time and again. Calendars would allow us to better group and schedule events.

    Guild Recruitement

    File:Recruitment_Tab_-_Search.png

    https://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Corporation_Recruitment

This tool allows players to search within their preferred parameters for guilds they wish to join. They simply have to hit the apply button. Maybe something similar to Our Writ Boards.

It features filtering to your specifications on the type of guild you want, and also allows Guilds themselves to create Adverts to promote their guilds.

It permits guild leaders to accept or deny players as members, and offers to create pre- written automatic welcome mail, and instant access to all information about the guild that players would need. Guild Leaders would be able to slot officers to specify themselves for recruitment roles, and other predetermined roles, for contact information.

    ECONOMY

I can't speak to the economy in ESO, other than what has been suggested here, since Eve has an open market, and it is a player controlled economy. However, the suggestions above are absolutely everything we need. Most needed is the Guild Stall Bidding System to be reformed.

    THOUGHTS

All of these features are undeniably needed. I understand it is a daunting project, but one that ZoS should consider undertaking nonetheless.
Personally I don't care about form, as much as I do FUNCTION. Others may feel differently, but I think we all agree that these tools are actually NECESSARY to properly run and maintain a guild. I would rather see these changes in effect before any upcoming DLC content or other changes/projects.

Please ZoS, even implementing some of these would greatly relieve a lot of leadership and improve Guilds all across Tamariel!

I think we need more options with longer more advanced histories for coin and item withdraws, tiering for withdraws, recruitment options in game (similar to a lfg ui ...only better than our current lfg which needs replacement too). It would also be interesting to set an option to put and in game ap into the guild's acceptance link and maybe an exit ap interview thing when dropping. There needs to be much more text space available to type in the MOTD and the Guild Background section too as just a few things off the top of my head. I could care less about the kiosks and such.

So this Monday my guild and the 2 sister guilds all 3 had the guild banks completely emptied by a single member. We've been screening members for bank access, holding it back til they've been in the guild a while and shows some level of participation by either donations or by significant sales (50K sales per guild). Currently I have members who regularly complain that it's too strict since casual players don't manage to unlock the bank and must ask people to get out items for them if they want something. The idea, which mostly worked is that members who donate gold, or who are earning a lot of gold in the store won't give that up. Well it worked til this week. The point is that no matter how carefully guilds manage their guild bank access, they still get periodically robbed if they allow any portion of their members to use it. I've seen that more and more guilds are simple denying the members access to the bank and using it as storage for guild prizes or storage space used by the officers only. This is a shame since it denies members the ability to share common items with each other conveniently.

So, I shouldn't be surprised... but how is it a topic that is poorly thought out and semi-trollish gets 13 pages of replies and one that a group of people put hours of work into with a detailed list of much needed game changes gets 2...
It doesn't surprise me because when you see stupid you can't help but cringe and want to say something. When people see something too detailed and complete they have little to say.

But I ask you, the players. Please comment. Getting feedback even if you just agree, or agree with part of it or tell your own stories of how this stuff could improve your game, is how the devs will know that this is important to us!
