Glad to see the potion won't affect CP gain as it was feared. But it's weird they did this as they would have made quite some money with it :)

No.... they need to make it apply to Vet levels, but not to CL levels. 1-50 is quick and painless. The Vet grind is soul crushing.

Not a fan of this, it's walking a fine line of P2W. Don't understand why they wouldn't make it work for VR's since that is the real grind though.

Meh.... as a customer, I see no need to buy a xp potion for 1-50. Its the hours put in to grind vr levels that frustrates me. I now have 2 VR's, would love another class at vr14, but isnt going to happen for awhile until the frustration of grinding the last vr14 has worn off.

I was honestly looking forward to a potion that would boost my vr level gains, without affecting my cp gains.

Probably the reason they chose to limit it to non-vet toons is that non-vet toons cannot earn CP. Because xp goes to both levels and CP, making an xp potion at champion levels would be a P2W potion.

this, and because of their stupidity of tiring CP to xp, they likely could not undo that for their potion.

The funny thing is you will never need this item. You always have way too many xp from 1 to 50 and it can be a struggle to find content that haven't turned grey.

At veteran levels you never have enough xp to level up in the veteran zones.

But this item does nok work for veteran characters, making it pointless and irrelevant. Lol

They managed to make enlightenment count for CP but not veteran rank. Why can't they do it the other way round? I mean, I don't give a *** because I enjoy the leveling phase, but that's probably just me.

    On a side note:
At veteran levels you never have enough xp to level up in the veteran zones.
Can't confirm. 1 to 1.5 Vet ranks per zone. My SO's char turned V14 shortly after having started V10 area. No grinding, no PVP, no dungeon runs (not even completed the non-vet group dungeons), not a single quest in Craglorn or Cyrodiil.

It is pay 2 win, especially because of the un-capped champion system.

No It's not. This only applies to nonvet, therefore you will not be gaining cp points while using this. Your argument is invalid.

I suggest re-reading the tooltip. Don't be ashamed, did the same mistake initially.

Hint: "Can only be consumed if you are not Veteran Ranked."
Hint 2: Champion Points are gained, when?

Well looks like am done with the game. This isn't a goodbye post this is am disgusted with the way these games are going. Plus how can you say bye to a B2P game. ESO had so much potential to be a great MMO and then they go and ruin it by listening to all the wrong ideas of what an MMO should be. From the first day they started this B2P stuff I was still hoping the game would survive. Now I would rather have it die the death it deserves. Molag Bal has won!
