The company need to turn around the game and make money or the dev team will keep getting smaller.
I too want new content but until they get more money and then get more dev's.... we are stuck were we are and nothing new for a few more months.
They need to make more easy 'whale' items, like the $25 dollar mount so they can get an injection of cash and hire more devs.
Small things like new PVP siege weapons and bug fixes is not new content (even if the dev's think it is)
I want a new zone but understand they need to make money first cause the investors are trying to pull out.
The problem is they are playing a balancing game. They need to fix the bugs and get the game stable for console release, but if they do not add anything for many months, other games will come alone and some will move on.
(1) I never said I have spent anything on the crown store, I just said if they release more for the 'whales' they get easy cashc.p.garrett1993_ESO wrote: »The company need to turn around the game and make money or the dev team will keep getting smaller.

More money? The game's price, previous required subscriptions, and current ongoing subscriptions isn't enough? Not including the crown shop and the upcoming console releases.
And they are a massive company with the resources to stay afloat no matter how horribly this game sells.
At this point it is not a matter of money but their current goals and priorities not including more content. I do, however, applaud your blind loyalty and willingness to throw money at a company without anything in return. You are by all means the ideal consumer. ZOS will be praying for more like you.
I am completely okay with waiting for content but this heavy focus on the crown ship is ridiculous. I feel like anybody who buys crowns or pays for a subscription should be permitted to write it off on taxes under charity.

Cash shop items may bring some money in but the high focus on the cash shop and lack of new content is causing subscribers to cancel and I'm sure they were bringing in more money on subscriptions than they are from the cash shop (at this time).

That's a fine route to go. However, it's incredibly boring. Especially for months on end with no new content in any foreseeable future. I don't know how well most will take that.
Console release is in June.
And we are told we are waiting 1-2 months post console release to get new content. And I'm guessing that's a conservative estimate.
I just want to know what you're thinking Zos. Please, I just want to understand. You do realize Craglorn was released a year ago right? And you do release that with the estimate of getting new content in fall, sanctum will have been released a year ago from that, right? These trials take us anywhere from 10 minutes to 30 minutes to complete.
10-30 minutes.
1 year without new ones to do.
Like..... Wut?

Don't forget that the gear from trials is next to worthless atm.

But think about it. Like you said, it's been a year since last new content, so they must already something new developed. The problem is, they know if they release this new content before June, they will have to incorporate it in console launch. Meaning they would not earn millions by selling it separately to console players.
Ever since last autumn, ESO has become all about console players, as they estimate there will be more of them than there will be PC players.
...
As for console players being the saviours of the game. In the short term sure, but I predict a massive drop off on console players, larger than the original drop after release. I don't think console players will stick around for long at all.

Because spending days, weeks and even months running around killing the same mobs in the same places to get a few % increase in some stats is FUN?Bfish22090 wrote: »What's wrong with grinding CP's?
