I know! And it was glorious. We could not believe how many AD kept emerging from Alessia which never had any enemy siege placed against it. I lost count of the number of times the scroll runner ran up to the front door to fight the AD on their home turf.
I sure hope those same AD players are on again tonight as my AP balance needs another boost.

The scroll soon after reset back to Drake because AD couldn't touch it and EP could not get close enough to it.
Let's not leave out the team orange business of yellow guarding the scroll and protecting it for EP so it would reset in an ep keep. Maybe one day Ep will win a campaign without help from AD.
The campaign is barely a week old and DC already trails EP by 13K points. We don't need AD's help in winning this campaign and one scroll is not going to make much of an immediate difference.
Really? Is that why you're all cramming yourselves in that campaign and poplocking it even when dc and ad have only one bar of pop? Let's be clear: that is the ONLY reason you guys are 13k points ahead. You're all in there round the clock. You call in your ad buddies when DC finally fills up and you all actually have a challenge.
Oh come on, there is no orange, green, or purple alliance.
Every faction is looking out for themselves, and sometimes AD's best interest aligns with DC, sometimes with EP, and sometimes **** all of ya'll.
I've worked with both factions when the situation called for it.
I'm going to go out on a limb here and guess that when AD helped EP, it was because DC was dominating the map.
It's lonely at the top

It's all your fault, isn't it, Winnie?
You need to just come clean an admit your complicity.
You caused it all.
The anger.
The heartbreak.
The lies.
The accusations.
YOU STOLE THE SWEETROLL!
And now every guard in Whiterun is after you.

So I gathered. However, I have seen a lot of cross faction scroll shenanigans, but I have never seen (aside from one player trolling, perhaps) a faction help another faction keep their scroll unless it was to screw over the dominant faction.
Now I understand that DC isn't winning the campaign, but I would be very surprised if any significant number of AD helped EP unless they considered DC the bigger threat at that moment.
Or I guess we could just go with your "AD just loves EP so much they're down to help them win the campaign" theory.

My theory of why AD kept running out and attacking everyone:
AD #1: "Hey, there's a bunch of dudes on the Alessia doorstep. Let's go fite them nao!"
AD #2: "There's a scroll that we can't pick up, what do we do about that?"
AD #1: "That just means more dudes to fite for the apz!"
AD #2: "OK!"
Both: "POOOOOTAAAAAATOOOOOOOO!" *charge*
Without the guilds that usually appear on AS for AD being present, the AD population is dreadfully disorganized and disparate. I've seen them fail to take Alessia farm with 3 bars of population from either blue or red. So if they see dudes on their doorstep, they won't care one whit about what's going on and will charge out there.
I know quite well, especially in NA, if an ungrouped player logs on as an AD and there's nothing to do, they click the transit at the gate and then you click Alessia (or Sej if they have it). Sheer force of habit brings this on.

I am honestly confused by the people who keep saying AD was helping us by guarding the scroll until it reset into our keep....Were the AD supposed to leave the scroll alone for DC to pick up? Because if that happened we'd be having this exact conversation but saying AD was working with DC rather than EP working with AD....

Siiiiiiiigh. Tex, you're lucky I like you. Go back and read where I said it is understandable for a losing faction to want to screw over a winning faction. What's not understandable is them NOT wanting to see the winning faction be robbed of some points.

I think the salient point is one would anticipate two losing and outnumbered factions to coordinate against the top cheese who has a 13k point lead. What one scratches their head at is the guy on the bottom a lot helping out that top cheese. To what ends? Why does the top cheese need the bottom guy to hold a scroll for them? This is all rhetorical, of course.
Oh I don't care that they are working together. I'm just tired of the accusation that EP hooks up with another faction on AS when it is obviously the other way around.
If AD and DC want to cut out half of their possible points that's fine with EP.
Such arrogance. Anyone who was there last night knows who clowned around with that scroll and knows who he was helping and why. My goodness you would have us all live in ep's world of denial?
This is a parody post, isn't it? That is the only rational explanation for such nonsense.
The EP with the scroll wiped the AD outside Alessia several times over, not to mention a few dozen camp dropping DC. There is no reason why DC couldn't have whipped the AD there and grabbed the scroll. My group withdrew several minutes before AD finally brought down the scroll runner so I am not sure exactly what happened when the scroll runner was slain. Given what happened later at Arrius and Chalman, it's no wonder AD didn't trust DC to walk up and grab the scroll without also sieging Alessia. You can't fault any faction for defending a home keep.
I feel like we aren't even on the same page half the time. I am sick and don't have it in me to fight you today. You're crazy if you think dc has the numbers to fight poplocked ep and 3 bars ad for our scroll, though. Ad had ONE reason to guard that scroll until it reset at the winning factions keep. To help the winning faction.

Has it not been admitted many ad rolled ep? You expect me to believe the ad who rolled ep didn't maintain connections and friendships? Dawwww, come on now.
If it was so obvious what I think then why ask what I was complaining about?
Any they what? Deleted their ad toons? Never sign on them and clown around to help ep? Sorry, I am a skeptic by nature.
I will say I have always doubted that rerolling attributed to the bloat on ep side. I'm not buying that bill of goods, either.

Yes... an entire guild rolled EP.
But they did so partly because they were receiving so much hate on AD.
And in fact, that guild broke up, with half of them coming back to AD and half staying as a new guild on EP, and the one thing you did not want to do after that happened was stand between those 2 groups on any battlefield, anywhere. The love was real.
Now, I'm sure they still have a few friends on AD, but then we all have friends on other factions.
I'm even in a DC guild, and I'm pretty sure it makes me more of a target when we fight them.
Whatever you may believe, there is no **** DC alliance between EP and AD besties.

"Many of us have just attributed this to what has been admitted here on the forums: many ad rolled ep toons and therefore won't fight their buddies under any circumstance."
I mean, I think it's sort of obvious what you think...
And apparently, AD did this because we have so many friends on EP?
You're right, of course. The love affair between AD and EP is well documented...
Has it not been admitted many ad rolled ep? You expect me to believe the ad who rolled ep didn't maintain connections and friendships? Dawwww, come on now.
If it was so obvious what I think then why ask what I was complaining about?
Yes... an entire guild rolled EP.
I remember right after the split. I could go somewhere and say the name of the AD guild and where they were and not two seconds later in comes the red version and the two would beeline for each other to smash heads.
It happened way too consistently for there to be any form of coincidence. Both sides wanted to best each other. Badly.
Any they what? Deleted their ad toons? Never sign on them and clown around to help ep? Sorry, I am a skeptic by nature.
I will say I have always doubted that rerolling attributed to the bloat on ep side. I'm not buying that bill of goods, either.
I don't think you understand.
This guild was very well known on AD, and widely disliked. Now they are very well known on EP, and widely hated.
We would all know if they were doing that.
It's not happening. It's just not.

I know I seen a huge amount of oldschool EP come back since 1.6 and TU. I'd like to hope more AD and DC oldschoolers return as well.RIP Brovaling.

AD #1: "Hey, there's a bunch of dudes on the Alessia doorstep. Let's go fite them nao!"

AD #1: "That just means more dudes to fite for the apz!"
AD #2: "OK!"
Both: "POOOOOTAAAAAATOOOOOOOO!" *charge*

You obviously don't remember it as well as you think because they crowned every emp they meant to easily, sometimes multiple people in one day.

I misunderstood nothing. I know who the guild is. I know the story. You're not giving me some prime scoop. I also know the reroll wasn't limited to one guild as you claim.
