It is possible we will offer the Senche-Leopard mount again at some point. If we release something in the Crown Store that we intend to not bring back, we'll state as much.

lol, if you really think overprizedcoffe with out of place sirup in it that is served (just kidding, you have to stand up and get it yourself) in a Airport-like ambiente is a good benchmark for any price, please reconsider. And try out some nice traditonal coffeeshops.
Maybe you can find one more easily with an app for your iphone.

But they're still sold that way and people still think of them that way. Why? Because our mental model remains a physical one.
It's just data though. Thus terms like limited or unique do not apply even though they're used.
The exchange below illustrates this quite well.ZOS_JessicaFolsom wrote: »Fleshreaper wrote: »"Limited time offer", is certainly open to interpretation. Look how vague and equivocal the official response is. But it's accurate and honest even though the labeling is not.
Earlier games like Ultima Online had a very different take on it. Limited time meant....limited time. Objects, pets and items would appear in that game as part of a story line and NEVER appear again.
And even though the user base for that game is tiny in comparison to others the market value of some of these purely digital items remains astonishingly high.
But is it value to the developers? Yes. There are people still paying for 10, 20, even 40 accounts in UO to have access to their massive collections of digital items. And some of these people haven't even logged into the game for years.
Such is the power of this concept.
But when you abandon the subscription model - UO never did - any concept of unique or limited is gone forever.

This was something we talked about for, well...about a year now. One of the most common requests we got in regards to the pre-order items was "The person I originally used my Pledge of Mara with is no longer around. Can I undo the Rings of Mara buff and do the Pledge with someone else?" This was the driving force behind offering it again.
Offer it for free then.
That sounds like a reasonable solution.
While they're at it, would you like them to make everything else free? And just work as volunteers?
Of course not.
My point is simply this: if the driving force behind offering the Pledge of Mara again was to please those who wished to undo the buff, then it should be for free to those players, as they have already paid for it.
At no point did I suggest any of them work for free or that the game should be free. That is a slippery slope argument.
Most of us are 100% cool with the Ring of Mara being a for pay item. A poor-decision on a player's part shouldn't be compensated by ZOS.
If you want another ring... pay for it. Simple.

It does not say the leopard mount is available for a limited time. It says for a limited time only.
That last word changes everything.
"It is possible we will offer the Senche-Leopard mount again at some point."
In light of the official statement we now have a case of an outright lie broadcast to all players in big, bold letters.
I don't care about a mount. It doesn't matter that it's not owned by people who buy it or not. It's a matter of willfully and knowingly lying to customers.
Y'all can argue about this among yourselves. It's up to you whether it means anything.
For me, and this might sound silly, I need a company I do business with to have a moral core.

Is there anyway we can get a large on-screen count-down when only 3 hours remain that stays on your screen flashing until the time runs down so we know exactly how much time we have left before we miss out on this exclusive first time buyers opportunity?

It's not the last Senche mount you're going to see in the crown shop, can guarantee that much. I'm still saving my crowns, waiting to see what the next few months have in store for us. I'd hate to spend all my crowns just to have something I want even more, introduced right after.

There was a data-mining thread, it showed three other senche tiger mounts that are to be released. Personally I am waiting for the black one

I can tell you, ZOS is going to be making more money from me than a plain subscription. I've already bought a six month subscription and need to buy more crowns.
Cats. Cats will be my downfall. Add more cats and I may have to get a second job.
